their online listings are always funky somtimes a few dollars below retail sometimes a few above but usually in store the sticker price is always the actual retail price. But 40% off Retail isn't bad on the sale of 79.99

Wasn't a Charade blu put up on amazon too?

Edit: I just searched Amazon and it's nowhere to be found now. There was one right? Or am I just crazy?

Yeah, though never confirmed by Criterion so I could of put it under "Not confirmed" but it prob doesn't matter until they announce it or hint it.

Charade wasn't on amazon.com, but it was "confirmed" the same day here: http://theplaylistnation.blogspot.co...-red-line.html

The title of that says "Criterion confirms" but nowhere did it say Criterion confirmed it. Just Blu-ray.com and Amazon. They said they got in touch with them so.....

That is 3 a month. I doubt Hausu will be blu and people will go crazy. But anything can happen. The IFC titles will be, Breathless and Seven Samurai will be, and Thin Red Line has to be or whats the point.

Yeah, I fully expected it so I'm not too down; however I am a little chapped that they didn't bother to give a reason for the cancellation ( computer glitch, hack job, ect.) Guess I'm just natuarally curious.

I don't see why Criterion wouldn't put Hausu on blu. It's somehow gained a huge following for being relatively unknown before Janus picked it up (The line for tickets was around the block the day I saw it, filling the art house I frequent, which never happens. And that was only one of the showings during the week it played too) So I think it would make good business sense. Plus the print looks great, and the colors, music, visuals in the film would greatly benefit from blu.

You should still be able to leave negative feedback if the seller yanks away your order. Really lame the order just vanishes like it never happened.

Actually it was. The seller posted items with the purchase price stated. It's not my fault the seller messed up with their prices. If it was Amazon that screwed up with the prices they should reimburse the difference between the incorrect price and what the price should have been.

If I go to Wal-Mart and see a TV for sale clearly marked $50 even though it should have been priced at $1000 I still get the TV for $50.

My orders were canceled and they disappeared from my history. While I never really believed it would happen, Supermart definitely needs to have some sort of compensation for customers beyond a simple refund, given the scale on which this problem obviously occurred. I guess I'll be contacting Amazon CS to find out just what happened here.
