Seeing that I can not remember a single time in recent memory where it's been before 5pm I don't really see this argument!

The Facet DVD release looks fine. The color is stable throughout the 10 episodes. If it is different than intended I don't know, but all 10 eps look the same and I didn't notice any issues with anything. The only film of these I've actually seen in cinema is dekalog 5 and it looks the same color and ratio wise on their DVD.
