It's kind of an odd/mediocre month. Y Tu Mama Tambien is the stand-out, but I'd say this is one of the weaker month's for Criterion this year.

Let me add to the echo 'meh'. Yet again nothing of interest. It's great that Y Tu Mama Tambien is getting the Criterion treatment, but as much as I like it, it's not a film I would rewatch again and again.

Ahh.. you see? I must have been a good boy. Y Tu Mama has been in my top 10 all time favorites for a long time. been holding off on revisiting it for a while now because of the CC hints. finalmente!

going to be a Spanish month w/ the Almodovar release. I love Almodovar but have not seen this one yet.

This is a "meh" month for me as well.

Maybe I'll get Y Tu Mama Tambien, but it's not a title I've really been looking forward to. All That Jazz, while a nice surprise release, doesn't interest me, either, as I'm just not a fan of Bob Fosse's work.

After the B&N sale in July, maybe a month like this is what my wallet will need!

Outstanding month Criterion. All That Jazz, Tie Me Up!Tie Me Down!, Y Tu Mamá También and Love Streams are instant purchases for me. Vengeance is Mine I'll purchase when it is half price. So for this year August is my favorite month.

Would love to have seen Criterion release Mulholland Drive. It would have tied in perfectly with the release of Twin Peaks in late July.

It used to be more common. It simply means they haven't finalized it yet.

LOVE STREAMS at last!!! One of Cassavetes' best, and most underrated as it's been so difficult to see for so many years. This is EXCELLENT news! Also in for ALL THAT JAZZ.
