You need to watch Brownlow's Hollywood, esp. episode 1.

Also, I have not been able to find an Easter egg, where they could have been hidden.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou Blu-ray REVIEW

Pro-B
If you go and check out it's individual Criterion page it's been removed. It seems as if since announcing they realized there may not have been space, or weren't gonna be finished in time. Although they were on press sheets, Criterion removed it from the web page.

thanks for the link to what appears to be a cool article. will take a look if I have the chance. Hitch is one of my favorite directors and that Peter Lorre artwork is AWESOME. if you think you've caught me in a contradiction, I don't know what else to tell you. reread what I said about the City Lights artwork. when kuro_sawa (the poster here) agreed that "it is more "involved" in that way," he seemed to have gotten the point. reread that part of the conversation.

the fact that the people who made TMWKTM or City Lights are not around goes without saying, but nobody is re-imagining the themes of the film in those cover designs either.

Thanks Pro-B, always enjoy your reviews. I'm really looking forward to this release, can't wait to upgrade my DVD. But sad if it doesn't have the new interviews, etc.

Yes, on the Blu-rays (if a title has any Easter eggs) you have to have to have a specific menu selected and then press the blue button on your remote. Example, on the Repo Man Blu-ray select the Supplements menu and then press the blue button on your remote to play the 11 minute featurette The Secret Truths of Repo Man.

Thank you, Tama, and everyone else for the notes. Yes, it would appear that the interviews were dropped, though my press materials did not reflect the change. In fact, as I mentioned earlier, I assumed that the interviews might have been hidden in an Easter egg, as this is a release that seems perfect for a special treat, but I could not find one on the disc. We have the interviews on the news page now.

Packaging: I actually uploaded photos a long time ago in this thread. Here's the post (see below). I will also place them in the review.

Thank you everyone. See you on the forums

I don't have screeners for these upcoming releases, Polaroid But you don't have to worry, these reviews will be posted on the site very quickly.

I will also make sure to post packaging photos for you (and the other guys) here and in the individual threads. The next review will be for All That Heaven Allows, as I just finished the extras.

But today we'll have a review for Nosferatu from the UK (SteelBook)

That post wasn't a response to that, it was a response to your 'maybe maybe not' silliness. Of COURSE Criterion is more likely to have run it by the director than a studio did. It is very commonly known that a director has no say over the advertising of a film, trailers and posters.

It wasn't an argument about the other thing, so I didn't include it.

Since you guys are having all this talk about The Life Aquatic I figured I would share this here where it may get more attention.

I picked this up today at Costco for $19.99, they had an assortment of Wes Anderson Criterions for $19.99 which include The Life Aquatic, Fantastic Mr.Fox, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket, & The Royal Tenenbaums.

Oh also with SHOAH is it best to start with short cut then the 9 hour, or just start with 9 hour? If so, does it work best in one straight viewing or can it easily be broken into several parts?

Nymphomaniac (4 1/3) hours was easy to sit through one viewing etc but I know SHOAH is probably harder to watch due to subject
