Just happy that option is there - I ave been dealing with Clair via email - just sent them the money via paypal and drop Clair an email (also leave paypal note on what u need).

Hope you get as good a service as I have - I have been tempted to send some money to them for the artwork sleeves to frame for wall XD
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Just got my response. The digipack release of Night of the Hunter ceases to exist and there is no way to replace as they've cleared all stock. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Guess my OCD will have to chill out... I guess at least it wasn't my Third Man release.

Aw sorry to hear - I had same issue when requesting the plastic case version of TMWFTE.

Come to think of it, wish I had request replacement for TNOTH whilst they had it :/ mine is horrible but luckily whilst on shelf the spine looks ok thanks to black pen lol - Least the seller refunded me for it ^^

The only issue I have with digipacks is the height difference from clear cases. Like ace in the hole and a hard days night are both noticeably taller than the regular clear cases. L'Eclisse used a 3 disc clear case so that was a nice thing to see.

That bugs me - It's weird as DVD's version don have same problem.

I sorted the issue by separating the digipaks from the plastic so it looks tidier on shelf, also there is big gap behind the plastic cases so the spines are flush with the digits as they are a little more width to them.

But the beauty of the digipaks makes up for that problem :P!

I did the same thing. All the plastic Criterion cases lined up looks awesome. Digis are separate because they are for the most part all the same height when lined up.

I bought L'Eclisse and All That Heaven Allows at Barnes & Noble for $41 by using my 20% Off coupon in conjunction with the sale.

These new plastic 3-disc cases are great.

...and durable, as I just found out.

After I purchased these Blu-rays, I went to a grocery store down the street, because I had a craving for some watermelon. I bought this massive seedless watermelon, and was excited about having it for dinner. When I arrived home, though, I tripped on the sidewalk path leading to my apartment. The watermelon broke into pieces and I bloodied both of my hands during the fall. On the bright side, these two Criterion plastic Blu-ray cases that I was holding in one hand were both undamaged and in perfect condition. I'm upset that I lost my watermelon, but I can at least enjoy some good flicks.

Yah I did have it all by spine originally but the height looked messy, and mixing the whiney plastic spine with th meat spine looked odd - much nicer this way ^^

Some digipaks are a little taller or wider than others which I don't get but its so subtle.

Heres a pic - getting new shelves sorted and organised so the ones on top on side won't be like that much longer, and Zatoichi/AK 100 will get own shelf :P

Do need to get rid of my DVD's as I have most on Bluray now which is wasting a bit of space, but I love the bigger artwork lol - plus I can watch those ones in bed on DVD player as most aren't Dual Format on Blu.

Oh also - the ones on top on side aren't organised yet so spine are a tad messy lol - still got 25 on way in post so going to sort out when they get here ^^

Also... The Man Who Fell To Earth looks so pathetic - its tiny on shelf rofl... wannabe Digipak! lol

I put some hydrogen peroxide on my hands, and they'll be alright in a day or two. I was actually more upset about losing the watermelon than I was about scraping my hands. These things happen, though.

I'm glad that my two Criterion purchases today were not digipaks.

Also the a hard days night digipack is very thick. It's got a nice thick book so that's probably why it's that way.

Friday the 13th! I'm staying inside today. Glad your injuries were minor and I'm sure some deep-rooted instinct helped preserve those Criterions.
