Tati box would be great. I just sold Playtime because of the forthcoming box set.

Criterion doesn't always give us what's expected. So maybe the Wenders Road movies instead?

Seriously, a blu of the 1967 version with some Pete and Dud extras would be terrific!

I am almost certain that The Vanishing is coming, as they just changed the default trailer image on their site.

I want a Criterion release of Wim Wenders's Until the End of the World. I used to wear out that soundtrack CD back in college.

Don't Look Now is a possibility, although I wouldn't pre-order until a review is posted since a Region B version already exists. The Tenant is unlikely since Polanski's Macbeth was announced last month. I hope I'm wrong, I've been wishing for a blu-ray release of The Tenant for years.

For those who think the building in the 2013 New Years drawing was hinting at The Tenant, I am pretty sure that it was a part of the overall Safety Last! design.

I rewatched the film a couple of weeks ago and some of the shots of the building look exactly like the drawing.

I certainly hope not. This film is bigger than a misc. boxset. If included in a boxset - it should be an Edward Yang boxset.

I feel bad for him. Everyone should be able to be themself on a public forum as long as they aren't breaking the rules. One can always use the "ignore" feature if they don't want to see an individual's posts.
Hopefully he'll be back soon with no hard feelings.

Well, there are foreign blu-rays available for both of these titles. Existing print conditions cannot be too bad. I think the Masters of Cinema presentation of Joan of Arc is impressive. There are too many films in their collection in the top 100 in the Sight and Sound poll that have yet to be updated for me to believe (with the current technology available for restorations and stock upgrades) their position is every single one has the potential to look better.

The UK blu of Joan of Arc was an in house job which MoC did. I think Criterion are waiting on the Gaumont restoration.

With Bicycle Thieves, Criterion said at the Wexner talk that they have a 4K scan waiting for them in NY.
So we should be seeing that soon hopefully.

Foxconnect had a running poll last year to select titles that Fox would release under their Studio Classics line and The Good Bedazzled was one of the 60s entries.

I tend to hate people who wring their hands and weep for humanity and go on and on about how saddened they are when their personal favorites are disrespected but I have to admit I was more than a little disappointed at how little attention Bedazzled: No, Not That One generated in that conversation.

Long story slightly less long: I would be all over a decent release from Fox and would be deeeeeelighted by a CC release.

Paul Thomas Anderson has a page on Criterion now, same thing David Lynch had and boom we got Eraserhead - would be nice to see PTA film inc collection, I'm a huge fan of Magnolia .

And you know what I won't stop posting here cause some people get annoyed cause I am not breaking any rules and I am passionate about these films so yeah!

Sorry to be a drama queen lol - I clearly can't keep away >.<

That was helpful! Thanks. I was so moved by Joan of Arc with the Voices of Light music...I eagerly await a blu-ray release. Hoping that one I'm looking forward to is announced today.

I have avoided Punch Drunk Love cause I am not a fan of Adam Sandler :/ - need to give it a try and see if he can change my opinion, I just picture him in those comedy roles that are over the top and blah - thought I do love an actor that can change how he performs.

Im not big on Robin Williams, but he change my opinion in One Hour Photo! Incredible performance!
