Click on/go to your bluray collection list. Above the alphabet clickable letters are a number of filters, one of which is Statistics.

Can't speak for everybody but I'd definitely caution against a blind buy. It's a film that can cause some strong opinion. Also, it's a 3 hours long relationship movie, I personally found it something of a drag and don't consider it worth seeing more than once.

Maybe he added just the Criterion Blurays to his collection.

I see none in your collection.

I absolutely love the movie and consider it one of the finest in years. I also think the three hour running time goes by very quickly and leaves you wanting more. Further, I think the sex scenes, while long and graphic, are essential to the story.

That being said, I don't really think it's a safe blind buy film. I know it has a lot of replay value for me, but I think others may only watch it once. This could be bc they either disliked it, a minority view, or bc it was long and emotionally draining.

We NEED the full version, I felt some parts of the story were rushed and didn't have time to develop - great film otherwise

Thanks all...decided to give it a try, picked it up from local store...
I did not plan to go to a store without any new coupon today but B&N played a trick on me...
[Show spoiler] sent me a copy of Rear Window (ordered online) badly damaged, so I thought I will exchange it in local store & pick up my 17th & last criterion this sale.

I wouldn't say quite 100%. I haven't added my other but there are only a handful. I have Netflix for all of my films that I only plan on seeing once and worst case I buy then.

Criterion has an inherent value to me so those are the only real Blu's I buy.

Wow, out of 365 Blu-rays, for me just over half of them are Criterions!

51.5% Criterion
7.6% Warner Bros
5.9% Sony Pictures
5.3% Lionsgate Films
5.3% Paramount Pictures
5.3% Universal Studios
3.3% Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
3.0% 20th Century Fox
2.3% Disney/Buena Vista

Criterion is at number two for me with 12.7% (which should equate 310 movies). The rest of the studios in the top ten are all the big ones like WB, Sony, Paramount, Lionsgate.

8.5% Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
7.6% Disney/Buena Vista
6.2% 20th Century Fox
6.2% Sony Pictures
4.6% Paramount Pictures
3.0% Lionsgate Films
2.5% Twilight Time

I'm finally caught up with what I wanted from Twilight Time's back catalog, and I'm just about caught up with Criterion's (one more sale should do it). Time for me to start delving into what Olive Films has to offer, as I'd been letting their releases pass me by. Hmmm, maybe I should watch some of these unwatched Criterions I own first...

15.2% WB
14.6% Criterion
7.3% Sony
6.3% Universal
6.3% Olive

Top 5.

Anybody watch anything good on Hulu lately? I'm starting to run out of criterion's in my queue and I've already watched most of the more well known ones.

Ratcatcher which was one of the grimmest films I've ever seen but I was just fascinated by it.

Does anyone have a CC blu-ray that ISN'T a "First Printing?" I ask because (after 99 Criterions) I just noticed that Criterion uses such a marking and it appears on seemingly all my blu-rays.

I've never looked, but I assume my Bottle Rocket is a 2nd printing since it's the plastic case version and not the original Digipack.

My Night of the Hunter (in the plastic case) says Second Printing.

Was just about to order a replacement case for The Night of the Hunter. $10.95 w/ shipping? No way. That's extraordinary. I guess I'll have to live with it or sell my digipack down the road and buy the plastic case version on sale. Sucks, would've liked to hang onto the digipack case.
