not exactly pleasant subject matter, but I guess neither is D Day or the sinking of the Titanic.

the WTC movies that were made and...

One Day in September is a fantastic documentary about the attack at the '72 Olympics.

Sadly, that shirt has gotten so faded that you can't tell its a Cramps shirt. And now I can't find it anywhere on the internet

Out of stock at the moment, but: http://www.tshirtmonkey.com/pd_fghgfhgfhgfh3.cfm

Back on topic, I love that there are a number of Mike Leigh films in the collection, but it would be great if Criterion could add more, such as Secrets & Lies. The UK distributor (Film4) seems unwilling to release some of their best on blu, so it'd be great for Criterion to do it some justice!

So I'm watching very old DVD editions of the Samuel Fuller films. I am shocked how Criterion refused to add English SDH for their DVDs at the time.

I don't know much about this subject but doesn't criterion try to keep their releases as close to original intended film by director? I know some film haven't had best sound option because it wasn't how the director wanted the sound to be?

That's a non-issue. English subtitles is merely a separate option for English-speaking movies for those with hard-of-hearing.

Some of those early dvd's that Criterion released were pretty rough honestly.

Just a longtime fan of The Cramps. I can spot that lettering font anywhere. As the years went on, it came increasingly difficult to find any kind of officially licensed Cramps merchandise outside of their shows. It's always great coming across other fans.

Criterion did a new transfer so the fact it's out in other territories has little to do with it; it's coming but it might still be a while off.

Naked
Harakiri
La Haine
Slacker
Something Wild
Do The Right Thing
The Warriors

Only the last two don't have Criterion blu ray releases.
