I better make sure Amazon hasn't prepared any early to be shipped yet
Fortunately my Bday is the 21 and I have set aside some flow to make a killing during the sale...I have at least 8 or so titles that I will want by the time the sale ends that I have been putting off...and its painful

Oh...........

I wonder if I can change my name on here? I didn't know I would stay this long and like it. It's fun here. If I was on criterionforum, it would be alot of me talking to each other and that's boring. After 1,000+ posts here, I feel like staying.

That's the general concensus.
And the white rabbit means The Matrix is coming too.

I remember someone asking about Armond White and his negativity the other day. He apparently just became the first critic to give Toy Story 3 a bad review. Here is a link to some excerpts. http://filmdrunk.uproxx.com/2010/06/...ew-toy-story-3

Yeah that was me. I see his reviews then I see an essay written by him in the Criterion release of Everlasting Moments and it leaves my head scratching.

It's okay for what it is. Saw it a couple of times on T.V. a long time ago. That would be funny if Criterion got 2 MGM titles for a double feature:

Night of the Hunter & Night of the Lepus.

Also for anyone that never seen Night of the Hunter before, if you have MGM HD it comes on every once in a while. It looks great in HD. TCM for the first time I believe showed it this year, so MGM HD is your best bet if you want to catch it before the Criterion release, whenever that might be.

We kind of already knew Night of the Hunter was rumored, but I can't believe the big studio titles Criterion is getting, even that New Hollywood set, if true is huge for Criterion.

Their laserdisc edition was great, one of my fav of the old school titles... kind of funny they released it on LD, then lost the DVD rights back to MGM, then regained the blu-ray (and presumably DVD) rights now.

He actually looked it up on his computer and totally knew what I was talking about so he seemed somewhat reputable.

Just thought I'd pass it along. Sorry if its already been posted...
That's interesting because I just came from B&N tonight after work. I asked the girl in the movie section about the 50% off sale and she said that she wasn't sure, but the B2G1 sale ends on July 12th. Makes sense that the next one would start so soon after.

I actually thought the B2G1 sale ended earlier, maybe July 5th? Who knows?

But hey, thanks for the heads up, man!

Hey man, The Secret of the Grain was listed on BestBuy.com for 19.99. I ordered it right after someone posted it on here. Not a bad price for a CC Blu ray. Not sure if it still is available at that price though.
