And that's why the forum is so great! Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, and no one goes crazy yelling at people for them (for the most part anyway).

Me? I'm a big Bowie fan, so would to see it out again since it's OOP.

I think it's an egregious omission that Criterion hasn't released Summertime or The Last Wave on BD from their catalog. What the hell?

I just want The Kid, Limelight & The Circus. I'm not sure what the hold up is.

I'd love to see some vintage sci-fi. Something like The Thing from Another World or The Incredible Shrinking Man

Hmm, nothing probably.
I just want a Criterion with elegant menus, nice cover (not a cheap photoshopped one) and extras.
(i believe the European Bluray is barebones but I'm not sure. I have seen the back cover and can't seem to find a review. Can anyone confirm?)

edit: Hmmm, yes. According to this:
http://www.bluray-disc.de/blu-ray-fi...d-blu-ray-disc
it has no extras whatsoever!
So, I think my longing of a Criterion release is justified. Isn't it?

A Taste of Honey or The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner are my two guesses.

I have no idea what to expect from the announcements today. I used to love to think about what might be announced but as titles sometimes take a long time to be upgraded or added to the collection I'd rather just wait and see what they decide to put out next. Though I love the speculation regarding some of the possible upcoming releases.

Red Beard would be swell. I don't even care that I just bought the dvd.

Dersu Uzula is with Kino in the states, so I imagine that one is pretty unlikely.

I got one of those, too. Well, technically, my wife did as it's her name on the membership. I used it on books that we're giving each other for Christmas.
