That might be possible, but I don't partake in the consumption of alcoholic beverages (if that's what you mean by "have a drink"). I do, however, drink lots of water and the occasional soda. I always have to be aware and on my toes so I that don't succumb to the persistence of gay men out in the world. For some reason, they tend to think I'm gay, too. My girlfriend wouldn't appreciate me being taken advantage of. Anyway, I think I'm off-topic now.

Oh, I have a list... it's in my head, though. I just don't have the money for that list, ya know what I'm saying. This time I'm thinking a few box sets and finishing off the Eclipse sets that I don't have. What I really need to do is go through my DVDs and blu-rays and try to weed some stuff out that I don't consider "must-have," ya know? And you?

Actually, I just realized that the individual film pages have been changed, as well. Not too shabby. I like the drop-down option for Cast & Credits.

If you move to Rhode Island, it is. At least, GA is such a large state that all of the rednecks and douche bags can be spread out. Now, try cramming all those same douche bags into the smallest state in the nation. See what I mean?

Also, for Ray fans like myself, Venice Film Festival will have a restored and rare Nicholas Ray experimental film, We Can’t Go Home, which I believe was not finished and was featured in Wenders' Lightening Over Water.

I might pick up The American Friend being a huge fan of Hopper and Ray, though the directorial films of them more.

Hey, this has The American Friend and Lightning Over Water in this collection though don't know what the transfers look like:

Yeah...I saw that (3) film compilation as well and wondered about it too.

It would be nice to see some more Ray on BD in the future...I plan on adding Bigger Than Life to my collection, when the B & N sale comes around.

No I mean Anna Karina NOW, I mean the 69 year old one actually . NOW THAT might be a bit scary. The Perfect Date for Steve Buscemi, or to really hate Michael Bay, to have Martin Lawrence shoot old Karina .

I am not too familiar with either Anna Karnia or Megan Fox, but I actually think that Megan Fox could be a modern Anna Karina; just because she was in films we wouldn't agree with so much, doesn't mean that she lacks talent, granted most of us have not seen much of that in the more popular films, you never know . I would however think that would be more realistic to that category would be Marion Cottilard, or even Sahsa Grey (yes I said it!).

The new showgirls now that I think about it.
Speaking of Gery, I put up a post of an idea about a movie starring Sasha Grey and Ellen Paige. (Yes I post on teh Batman XXX Parody page).

Edit: Now that I think about it, it's a showgirls clone.

From Trogdor2010

Lets say Ellen Page plays a "down on her luck" child star at the time, losing the popularity she gain of some famous kids tv show or movie, and is being prayed on poperazzis exploiting her and she isn't her happy self. Then comes her little sister (Sasha Grey) who like the real life Sasha Grey, is a pornstar, so as a desperate attempt to gain popularity and isn't very good with business, making her virtually useless to producing profit, joins the porn industry. Grey teaches Page the techniques she has learned in the porn industry and rather quickly, becomes a rather sexually advanced actress like her sister. Meanwhile as Grey makes an attempt to leave the porn industry, she takes advantage of her assets and reprogrammed them so she could enter in roles of acting that Page was reluctant and inexperienced of taking. I'm thinking of a title something like "Bad trade".

So you base people off a movie or what wax figures in LA tell you what the "south" is like? I don't know if you consider Kentucky the south, but we all don't talk like hillbillies and sleep with our sisters. Maybe that happens more south. Also not everyone is political and religious.

Plus this is just based off if you think Kentucky is a "south" state, but sir, we have the best college basketball program in the U.S. and birth place to Johnny Depp and George Clooney while R.I. has.............................um........well.... ......R.I. has............um...........well let's see...............um......................hold on I'll get it..................um...............one second.....................um..................oh I know....................wait...................... ..no.............................um............... .................................

Also I have visit more southern states and you won't find more nice people anywhere else. Maybe because they are not "up their own A**", think they know it all, rich yuppies with their ear phone pieces like some of those "non-southern" states have.

Depends on the part of Kentucky you are talking about. My grandparents lived in Louisville most of their lives before retiring to Florida. Louisville was never all that southern, though they did have segregation until the 60's. It's the rural parts of Kentucky thatg have more of a southern flavor.

Considering I've lived my entire life in Central Florida I barely consider myself southern. The "old south" in Florida has mostly died out except for a few rural parts (namely the Panhandle). However I do apologize to the rest of the country for the nutjobs the south elects on a regular bases. Especially in 2000...

Well yeah, or course I live in Louisville, and I know it's not a southern part of the U.S. and know there is more "weird" southern places, but not everyone is a hillbilly is what I was getting at. I always find it funny when I see like a Jay Leno talk with his big chin about Kentucky people like their hillbillies when we (Louisville) don't have any southern slang for the most part and we are up to the rest of the country (Is Johnny freakin' Depp a Hillbilly Leno or George Clooney?). It's not like other southen places you hear about with no T.V. and crap. It's just funny when L.A. people joke when they have no room with their fake plastic faces. Sorry LA, I know everyone don't have plastic faces, but truth is their is more plastic faces in L.A., than hillbillies in Louisville.

Man, we are really off-topic. Here let me add something: Criterion Rules! There, better.

This is why other people should dislike the south, but not everyone is political and religious, so I won't apologize for people I do not associate myself with.

Pull Made In USA and Weekend off the kevyip and watch them.

Edit: Funny I searched for "Made In USA" to get a spine number and there's no spine number on its webpage. Was it like that before?

Dude, I had to look up what a Kevyip is and this came off a dictionary site:

Quote:
Unwatched DVDs on your shelf. Use of the word started on criterionforum.org in May 2008, thanks to a user named kevyip1 who criticized people for buying more stuff than they need, thus wasting world resources. Can also be used of other products such as books, music CDs or video games.
So a Criterionforum member made a word up and it became a real word?

And you have the OOP Weekend dvd? It's like a $100+. Good movie, but I'll wait since I seen it a couple of times, so no need to pay that much.
