Hunh. Yeah, it just did for me as well. Of course, they might be updating it, because (for one thing) it didn't mention the spine number.

It's still listed at the bottom of the "Coming Soon" page, though.

You know how irregular sites can be while they're being updates/tinkered with/worked upon/added to, etc.

Is this now-you-see-it-now-you-don't thing with Odd Man Out an early "April Fools" joke? C'mon, Criterion ... don't get ugly with us!

I don't think it was an accident at all. I think it was intended, as Owl joked, to be announced as the 'odd man out.' Criterion is kind of playful that way, no?

Does anyone know if Criterion ever releases any of the films in the Essential Art House series on blu-ray?

I'd like a new Criterion edition to replace my StudioCanal copy.

Perhaps. That could be fun.

Great choices everyone has made.

After Hours and Z, are two films I didn't think of before, but it'll be great to see them out on Criterion.

For me; it's still The Tenant, Mulholland Drive and Le Samourai. One that has just come to mind is the Mike Hodges film Croupier. A very underrated film that I would love to see get the Criterion treatment.

I would love to see some Hitchcock films, particulary from his British era such as Sabotage and Secret Agent. BFI/Network are releasing Young and Innocent on Monday, so to get an old Hitch film released this month would be a treat.

Are you referring to this? Several of them have already been released.

Pretty sure most of the essential arthouse has been upgraded, except for a few

You can buy a new copy of Ebay, I think the bidding is up to Ł47. Or you can get the digipack for Ł84

I almost replaced my Criterion with the Studio Canal Steelbook but saw the Criterion was a better release, better PQ ..

So far, none that are exclusive to the Essential Art House line.

Most of the EAH releases, however, are titles that had regular CC editions as well, and some of those have certainly been upgraded (Seven Samurai, The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, The Seventh Seal, The 400 Blows, Beauty and the Beast, M, The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, et alia)

The Lego Movie was robbed!!!! Supposedly, according to a tweet made by Mark Gatiss earlier today, if his "little brother" wins for Best Actor, he's going to accept on behalf of The Lego Movie.

I enjoyed The Grand Budapest Hotel, but I'm really shocked by the fact it's up for 9 nominations. I'll be watching Birdman tonight, to see what's up with its 9 nominations. I saw The Imitation Game Tuesday, and loved it. I know they took a ton of liberties, but, it was still a fantastic film. Reading Hodges biography on Turing that the film was "based" on right now, the new extended version that sits at a whopping 975pp in ePub format.

I still want One, Two, Three and The Bad Sleep Well.

I'm sick of waiting for Bicycle Thieves. Stop jerking us around, Criterion, and make it happen soon!

It's my second favorite film of the year right behind Boyhood. Emmanuel Lubezki is a great cinematographer.
