The films I am looking at lately are around $5 cheaper at amazon. DON'T LOOK NOW, PETRA VON KANT, TESS. That's pretty close, but it adds up if I buy a handful of movies at a time.

Never say never... Criterion announced, but never released, laserdiscs of Vs. Mothra, Monster Zero, and Terror of Mechagodzilla back in the day. There is still a shred of hope.

There is a good chance of a Criterion.com flash next week where all the regular releases will be below $20, free shipping over $50, and loyalty points. If you are looking at 3 or more titles I'd wait for that.

Genius! I will indeed watch for it. Thanks for the reminder. At $20 or so, I would buy 5 or 6 maybe.

I usually default to the cheapest price, but I go back in forth in my mind.

Mostly B&N and very, very rarely Amazon.

Criterion's flash sale this time of year can be tempting because July start to seem pretty far away right around now and every once and a while a used title will pop up on Gohastings for a decent price.

But mostly B&N.

I have averaged paying $15.69 for my 27 titles that had the $39.95 SRP (not counting a few OOP titles I have.) I've paid as little as $8.17 and over $20 only once and never again. only 3 of those were used and they arrived at my house in gem mint 'like new' condition.

I don't think they're releasing anything by him, but just added him in a Phantom Page.
