Not seen those haha - the youtube doesn't work in my country so need to get another proxy lmao... grrr maybe his Vimeo has them too lol

I do love a good parody, sometime they just suck lol

So if you think that way, name his best film. I'd have to choose Magnolia. Although I have to say that The Master wasn't bad either. I probably shouldn't deny it but as much as I want to admire Inherent Vice, I really didn't enjoy it as much as his other films in my initial screening of it. I still think its very challenging cinema and people will come to appreciate it more in the future. I'm sticking to that belief.

I just watched Edgar Wright in the Criterion closet. Man, now I know why I don't like his films... and I don't agree with his taste in cinema either. His voice is so irritating, I had to keep lowering my volume and it still was too loud. Sorry, not a fan of Mr. Wright I suppose. Lol.

He's got some spot-on movie tastes, though. Don't Look Now, Eyes Without a Face, Throne of Blood, etc.

I love Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz when they were released, and I guess that I still do, but I grew tired of them after a while, and I still have not bothered to upgrade my old DVDs of those films.

Yeah, other than 'I already have all the Wes Andersons' there really wasn't a lot to argue with

I like English accents, but there's just something about this guy... he's a bit too mischievous with his disposition. Seems like a youthful spirit to me. Guess I'm too much of an old soul to appreciate him.

I thought his accent sounded fake in some way.

Then again, when I first saw Luther I thought Idris Elba was 'doing' a terrible Brit accent so what do I know.

I cant stand the English accent - it just seems so abrupt and plain.... I don't know haha. Apparently I come across as 'posh' because I speak properly lol

Was so nice when I visited America, the accent is so chilled and nice to listen to, when I got back it was so bizarre lol.

I have English accent lol XD what you on about lol I thought I typed 'Colour' and 'Favourite' lol Tbh I have autocorrect on and no idea if its set to US or English... its too confusing lol + I have dyslexia which don't help!

If I do type color it may be because I buy so many American films so the titles are American spelling lol

Least I know how to spell Mum properly :P lol

Oh I may have misread lol - I am so confused lol >: (

-

Who doesn't use the word HANDKERchief with a W :P

The film book I want to get is The Dawn of Technicolor 1915-1935 which traces the development of the process. It looks like an incredible book. I'm always amazed at the number of early films that featured sequences or were filmed entirely in the early two strip process and sadly how few have survived.

Wright is a huge fan of The Brood, so he's probably there to be interviewed for bonus content.

It's super stylish and a lot of fun. But I do remember it being divisive, a lot of people found it just OK.

Anyway, my wife and I really enjoyed it.

I loved Shaun of the Dead and liked Hot Fuzz when they were released, now I feel the opposite. After that, unfortuantely, I haven't liked his following movies that much, but I do respect him as a director.

I was quite disappointed by Scott Pilgrim, but I think that was one of those near impossible adaptations, and should never have tried to condense 7 books into one film.

World's End was just OK for me. Maybe because I went in with high expectations due to how much everyone loved it?

I AM interested to see what he comes up with next though.
