I would think (hope?) that since it already has an inexpensive region free blu, it wouldn't be number 1 on many people's lists, even if they love the film.

I have no idea how likely any of these are to be announced already, but my wishlist for Monday's announcement would include

Before Trilogy
Moonrise Kingdom
Two Days, One Night

All would definitely be pre-orders for me

It seems like Two Days, One Night would be pushed out soon to capitalize on the awards-season fervor (like how Blue is the Warmest Color and The Great Beauty came out so soon after their theatrical release).

They've not been confirmed yet. The latest press release for the title simply listed the following.

• New 1080p presentation of the film, from a new 4K restoration
• Optional English Language Track

• Copius documentary, behind-the-scenes, and interview material, to be announced soon

• 48-PAGE BOOKLET featuring a new essay by Pasquale Iannone on Fellini and his usage of the 'Scope frame; rare archival imagery; and more

Ha... at least he already gave birth to the depression trilogy so I wouldn't begrudge a ray or two of sunshine in Wasington.

Looks like my flash sale order which includes THE SOFT SKIN was already shipped via UPS and it's out for delivery today. I haven't received shipping conf email yet but the tracking # is on the online order status.

I recently ordered the German David Lynch Boxset that includes Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, and INLAND EMPIRE. Trust me guys, Criterion loves to screw me over with my purchases (I've bought so many DVDs of obscure titles for insane prices and then Criterion announces their edition), so let's see if they do it again.

I would love to see one of Peter Greenaway's films make an appearance in the collection on blu. Especially anything shot by SACHA VIERNY (Belle de Jour, Last Year at Marienbad, Hiroshima Mon Amour) such as:

Belly of an Architect
The Pillow Book
A Zed and Two Noughts
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, & Her Lover
Prospero's Books

Anyone heard anything about any of these in regards to Criterion?

Lucky break! Looks like mine won't be getting here until Monday, was hoping to have them for the weekend, but this'll give me the opportunity to finish up the Tati box before the new batch arrives.

All I know is that there are 2 Japanese blu box sets that contain some of those films. (Both sets have entries on this site).

Yeah, I am reluctant to pick up either because each one of these sets contains only one of these films. And the one with A Zed and Two Noughts has mostly dvd content of early short films, which I already own in that format.

I think Greenaway seems like a good fit for Criterion, so I wonder if there are rights issues? Surely, a film like The Pillow Book, one of his most accessible, would make for a great edition.

I would love to see Greenaway make an appearance in the Collection, but I've never seen a hint of it in all the time since the beginning of Criterion.

Hell, I'd love to see Greenaway from just about any label at this point. The only Greenaway I have on Blu-ray at the moment is the region-free Swedish release of The Baby of Mācon. I'd like to get the Japanese collection (The Draughtsman's Contract and A Zed & Two Noughts, with The Falls and a collection of short films on DVD), but haven't really been able to afford it.

It is confirmed that there are more Lynch films coming (or at least one), not which, but i will be as happy if they announce The Elephant Man or The Straight Story.

I recently found a Mexican edition of Mulholland Dr. for very cheap so i am not waiting for that with as much anticipation.
