Yeah. Weren't the last ones My Beautiful Launderette and This is Your Life? Also Limelight came out fast. There have been other clues that have taken longer. Hopefully not this one.

Bates Motel,

I am unaware of any plans for an upcoming release in the U.S., but I simply do not have enough information.

The majority of the big restorations from last year's edition of Cannes Classics are already out/announced for Blu-ray. The big omissions are Sergei Parajanov's The Color of Pomegranate, Jean Renoir's The B i t c h, and Eldar Shengelaia's Blue Mountains. I would be surprised if these are ignored completely.

The full list from 2014 is here:

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=13861

These are the Blu-ray releases that have emerged (some of the restorations from the old program were also done earlier):

Or the 3 years it took to release Y Tu Mama Tambien from the first hint.

The Raymond Bernard restorations are already out on French Blu. I would imagine Criterion would be the only outlet here since they released both on Eclipse. I've hopeful they'll be the first Eclipse upgrade.

La Chienne is almost guaranteed to be Criterion someday, but maybe not for a little while since they've released two this year.

Mulholland Drive Would be a perfect hot August summer nite movie. Crossing fingers for announcement in May.

Would also love for After Hours to make the list for August of that NY drawing was what it was for.

So, is this month's clue a hint for Mulholland Drive?

I hope we get the new restoration of Fistful and Tokyo Olympiad soon. Would Tokyo potentially come from Criterion since the old DVD did?

We also know Lynch was very hands on with the Eraserhead release and it's easy to assume he was for this one too. Chances are it's been in the works for two years at least.

This one deserves a 4K scan. Hope it is loaded with extras (they've had enough time to collect some docs) My current Blu-ray is a decent PQ but weak on extras.

I'm not a fan of Lynch (of his films, I've only enjoyed Blue Velvet; though, "enjoyed" may be the wrong word), but I'm glad we've finally got a clue for Mulholland Drive. The complaints will finally stop for it.

Now it'll be "Where's Grand Budapest Hotel?" Or "Elephant Man"? Or "Lost Highway?"

I would love for them to get The Graduate back. It needs fixing in a bad way.

2nd Annual Criterion Bingefest

1. Crumb- #533
2. Something Wild- #563
3. Eraserhead- #725
4. Drive, He Said- #547
5. Slacker- #247
6. Life During Wartime- #574
7. Shallow Grave- #616
8. Schizopolis- #199
9. The Fisher King- #764
10. F for Fake- #288
11. Walker- #423
12. Broadcast News- #552

13. The Big Chill- #720
This was really something. Strong characters, phenomenal soundtrack, descent storyline. Not too much to say here. 4.5/5

14. Corridors of Blood- #368
Solid flick. I went in expecting a horror movie, but what I got was not that. I got a character study about drug addiction and how it leads you down a dark path. Not at all what I expected. A great performance by Karloff. 3/5

15. Withnail and I- #119
Hated it. Not too much to say other than I hated every character excluding the one played by the guy from Wayne's World 2. I love that guy. Somewhat redeemed by a strong ending. 2/5

16. A Safe Place- #548
Trippy and nonsensical, but I truly cannot say that I didn't like it. A stream of consciousness captured on film. 3.5/5

John Cassavetes's box is phenomenal! The PQ is outstanding. The Killing of the Chinese Bookie is probably my favorite movie in the set. An essential set for all the cinephiles out there Love Stream is next on my watchlist. Oh, and great news on Mulholland Drive! About time!

I have a DVD box set that includes the movies, The Blue Dahlia and The Glass Key. I was hoping against hope, but I knew that a hint combining these two was a long shot.

This hint is pretty solid for Mulholland Drive.

Haha, I like your version of the answer better, but I think we are out of luck!
