Paper Moon does seem very likely.

Still waiting for the announcements of Mulholland Dr. and Ghost World. Would also like to see releases soon for Day for Night and Dreams, but those might still be a long way off... no idea. Hopefully some of these come out soon.

They always seem to upgrade something atrocious from time to time so I cringe if Sweet Movie got an upgrade. I would love one for Antonio Gaudi but I am one of maybe 20 people who would buy it possibly. If it ever comes to blu I wish they could do a HD isolated score track for the film of just the original score. (minus the dance music portions that annoys me to no end)

I would love to see Ghost World. That has been at the top of my list for years.

This cries for a Criterion!
I hope they hear it!
It would be my dream too!

Has Ghost World ever been rumored or hinted at?

I don't think so, other than the fact that Criterion has released Terry Zwigoff's two documentaries.

Criterion titles that still need the Criterion blu-ray treatment: Short Cuts, The Long Good Friday, and Do The Right Thing. Other than that I would totally welcome After Hours, Mulholland Dr., and Punch Drunk Love.

"Steering this big ship back into Criterion waters, I want to see a Friday announcement for...

In a Lonely Place
Carnival of Souls
Brute Force
The Naked City
Thieves' Highway
Night and the City
Le Samouraï "

I wish CC would put out In a Lonely Place - someone should do it and who better than CC? Have you seen anything substantive that would indicate this will happen?

Thanks for the kind words! Much appreciated! It is a labor of love.

Regarding The Other Side of the Wind, they have an Indiegogo campaign going and one of the rewards is a Blu-Ray (which is where I contributed). A Criterion release right away is unlikely, but not out of the question down the road.

ha ha!

I would love a Sweet Movie upgrade. I don't have high hopes of it actually happening though.
