It's probably a month or two too early for Mulholland Drive.

It does feel like a summer movie to me though so I am hoping for August and the fact it has been kind of rumored and teased for so long the agony is never ending for this release.

I want After Hours more than most anything because it is a title we believe they hinted at but hasn't been confirmed.

I am hoping the clock clue is for The Big Clock (but also a double clue for those who want After Hours).

Well there's always a chance SC mucks it up, but I do think it's funny all those $150 third mans would be paperweights if it comes out as a 5 star 4k restoration that bests it.

We've had a couple of "hinted at one month, announced the next" cases recently. Couple that with the fact that it's been rumored forever and that following the Eraserhead hint I would expect them to have only given us the Mulholland Dr hint once everything was ready to go, and I think expecting an announcement today isn't exactly far-fetched. If not today then by next month, otherwise I expect blood.

Paperweight is pushing it just a tad. The Criterion edition is loaded with extras which are unlikely to be ported over, and I sure have gotten a shitload of mileage out of my copy so far.

I would happily buy one of those paperweights for good cash.

Just so annoying they couldn't have announced it earlier.

After 2 o'clock the delay comes?!

It better be worth the wait or there will be a lot of pissed off fans, including myself of course.

before I take a dump on the After Hours theory, is anyone willing to post a pic of the evidence supporting the possibility that this is what the cartoon drawing was hinting at?

if I recall correctly, the theories were quite a stretch.

Argh. Frustrating, but at least they told us at 2pm rather than 6pm.

I hate that they push them to Mondays. honestly I didn't expect them today since they haven't announced on Friday in a long long time.

whoa... irony overload here. "certain customers?" I don't think so.

take a look at your "most wanted Blu-ray" list and try again.

also, it is ridiculous that comparisons are being drawn on a film that no one has seen; that people are talking about "backlash" and how this is "not something that CC releases."

sci-fi fantasy is not my genre.. I probably won't see it, but I can definitely see the possibility of this being an "artful" film.
