Would LOVE Knife in the Water. Haven't seen the other two.

I think of all the titles that are "hot" like Moonrise Kingdom, Mullholland Drive, Badlands or whatever the flavor of the month is, this has been requested more often and for longer than any other title.

It's really, really past time.

This! Shivers would be essential.

Not sure where people are seeing 2pm, but that doesn't seem right.

Agreed that they are long overdue for Le Samorai, but we just got a Melville. They like to space out the popular auteurs that are available, and unfortunately not much Melville is available.

Shivers is hands down one of the funniest movies I've seen. Despite how cheesy it is, I was mesmerized during my viewing.

Love Shivers, although it may be too cheesy even for Criterion. Would work great as a box as suggested.

2pm pacific time

What a day this could be with these three alone

Mullholland Drive
Dressed to Kill
Le Samurai

I dont know if it will happen obviously but I also feel that today will have Mullholland Drive if nothing else

Too cheesy? If something like Jellyfish Eyes can be rumored for the Collection, then Shivers is most definitely a shoe-in.

If you're familiar with the Arrow release and what's happening there with TIFF and the master, it's safe to say that Criterion is not releasing Shivers any time soon.

Ugh. Pacific Time?
Even people in Pacific Time celebrate when the ball drops at midnight Eastern time on New Years

I hadn't, but Arrow's a better fit for it anyway.

Criterion is based out of NY, can't imagine why they'd be detailing the announcements in Pacific time. Sounds fishy to me.

I would love it if they announce a directors commentary for Mulholland Drive and it is literally Lynch saying in an over exaggerated voice "you are watching Mulholland Drive!" every ten minutes or so. Then myself and possibly many others watch the whole movie like this hoping for some analysis of some sort, but it's just two plus hours of that one line.

Or he just repeats the dialogue after they say it. Don't know why, but both of these scenarios sound way too funny to me at this point in time.

It does, but it's barebones and I believe only has a 5.1 audio mix and not the original. While I think the PQ is pretty great on it I wouldn't be mad if Criterion revisited this. Doubt that it's going to happen though

I'd like a Straw Dogs upgrade because the extras off the Criterion DVD are excellent, and I would imagine it would keep the original poster art (which is considered one of the best posters of all time).
