Only Lovers Left Alive? There's a scene involving blood popsicles.

I think it says "vacancy".
The "No" sign is dark, and if you notice it's not lit!

Maybe that helps somehow?

Some folks over at Criterionforum are saying Only Lovers Left Alive. It's a Sony title, so it make sense.

Well, the vampire has been given permission to enter as there is vacancy, once inside they will enjoy popsicles.

Seems too elaborate for that

I had forgotten about the popsicle scene. Only Lovers Left Alive isn't a bad guess. It just got a Blu-Ray release last year, but so did Inside Llewyn Davis.

Plus Jarmusch.

Not to mention, they will cost $10 more than regular popsicles

If it's Only Lovers Left Alive, that will be a wasted release. The Sony disc has excellent PQ already and pretty good extras. There's no need for a Criterion version.

I'd be cool with ONLY LOVERS, especially since my boutique buying has gotten in the way of the occasional new release I want. It's nice when the two cross.

I wonder if people will complain that they take up too much fridge space...

And James Quandt will do a visual essay about how vampire popsicles are a reflection of modern society.

Vacancy (2007) starring the beautiful and talented Kate Beckinsale. Woo hoo!

(I'm kidding.)

Vacancy is actually not a bad little movie, though. I used to own the DVD before I sold off most of my DVD collection to finance my Blu-ray purchases a couple of years ago.

I'm hoping that it's for Vampyr, because that makes sense from the hotel angle.

Maybe Polanski's The fearless Vampire Killers?
I haven't seen the film but I see in keywords at imdb gay and costume party.
So, maybe it's not an Elvis vampire but a drag queen vampire?
(neon lights work for "gay" too)

Again, why? The current disc is just about perfect. The PQ won't be any different (and already received a perfect rating here), just a few added extras. Unless it's a different cut of the film, but I haven't heard of one.
