Well, the vampire has been given permission to enter as there is vacancy, once inside they will enjoy popsicles.

I had forgotten about the popsicle scene. Only Lovers Left Alive isn't a bad guess. It just got a Blu-Ray release last year, but so did Inside Llewyn Davis.

Plus Jarmusch.

If it's Only Lovers Left Alive, that will be a wasted release. The Sony disc has excellent PQ already and pretty good extras. There's no need for a Criterion version.

Vacancy is actually not a bad little movie, though. I used to own the DVD before I sold off most of my DVD collection to finance my Blu-ray purchases a couple of years ago.

I'm hoping that it's for Vampyr, because that makes sense from the hotel angle.

Again, why? The current disc is just about perfect. The PQ won't be any different (and already received a perfect rating here), just a few added extras. Unless it's a different cut of the film, but I haven't heard of one.
