I was just looking at the website for the flash sale and noticed they have quite a few posters for sale. Have they always had that many, or have I just never noticed them before?

They've pretty much always been there. The Grand Illusion poster was a centerpiece but sadly seems to have finally disappeared at some point the past year.

Also the sale code(s) don't work for the Posters if you were wondering.

I have $20 in credits- $10 from facebook link and $10 from sometime in the past. I think I will order from Criterion for the first time in 5 years but I can't decide what to order lol.

I decided on Ministry Of Fear. It was a cheaper title on my Wish List. It sounded good. It only cost me $0.92 out-of-pocket.

random question, but does the tote bag just arrive with your order or does one need to add it to the cart...etc...? i tried adding it, to see if the cost would just drop to $0, but that was not the case.

It automatically appears in your sub total when you check out, assuming you've purchased more than $100 of merchandise.

I didn't even realize it came in 2 colors... I hope they send me the black too! But I can accept grey as well.

I somehow ended up going full horror on the flash sale. Just three titles for me:

I've placed my order, and may place another. This one I approached "scientifically" and "sensibly." I currently own 266 Criterion blu-rays. I finally decided to be honest with myself and acknowledge that I'm going to end up collecting them all. (Heaven help me.) So I started asking myself the following questions:

1. Which titles that I don't own have a history of being problematic at the retail level? The answer to that question prompted me to add Dressed to Kill and The Secret of the Grain to my cart.

2. Which titles have been out the longest and might be more likely to be licensed to another distributor and go OOP? My thinking (based purely on guesswork and intuition) prompted me to add Gimme Shelter and Monsoon Wedding.

3. Am I ever going to waste a Barnes & Noble coupon on a $29.95 title? Uh, definitely not! And so I added Gate of Hell, The Organizer, and Summer Interlude. I also added a clear plastic replacement case and insert for my copy of The Last Metro.

My total ended up being $129.79, from which I subtracted my $10.00 Facebook credit. Voila! I also got the free tote bag, and so I'm one happy camper! The only thing is, I paid off my car last month, so I have a little extra cash this month ...
