Edited to add: Doesn't the guy with the sax look a lot like Rober de Niro in Scorsese's New York, New York? Also, note his boots and robe, could be a double clue for Raging Bull.
But why would they show the chopper from Easy Rider? I guess like Five Easy Pieces it's getting a single release next year. It's definitely Here Comes Mr.Jordan. In the beginning of the film, he gets out of the boxing ring, puts on a robe, and is holding a saxophone.

What's the three kings? Is it actually David O. Russell's Three Kings?

I haven't seen that one, but it sounds more likely than my idea.

So any guesses as to who the man in black is? For some reason he reminds me of Michel Simon. I get that the cart is a most likely a clue for Lone Wolf and Cub (), but is it possible that it's also a clue for Renoir's Boudu Saved From Drowning (#305)? Michel Simon plays a tramp who gets pulled out of the water and changes the lives of the people who saved him, it's previously been released by Criterion on DVD. (I guess it could also be a clue for Renoir's La Chienne, where
[Show spoiler]Michel Simon ends up being a tramp
.)

May have to load up a translation site tonight and wrestle my way through that checkout process tonight. Set looks really nice.

Edit: That whole site is confusing me! It says blu-ray available now, and there is a link for a US/Canada edition, but that link was unhelpful.

McCabe and Mrs. Miller is on my top ten list of wanted blu rays, so I'd be psyched about that. Chimes at Midnight would also be day one for me. Here Comes Mr. Jordan would also be a buy. So, 2016 is looking good.

Any ideas what the object that looks like a tangle of rope or large bows is behind the grandfather clock? Also, if the object to the left of the clock is a jar of honey, then maybe Tony Richardson's A Taste of Honey?

I guess we'll spend all of 2016 trying to guess some of these clues.

Wondering if this could be a double clue for Tavernier's Round Midnight starring legendary jazz musician Dexter Gordon? The man blowing on the sax is right next to ('round) the clock that is striking midnight.

They're Chrysanthemums, could be either Naruse's The Late Chrysanthemums or Mizoguchi's The Story of the Last Chrysanthemums

US is not available yet. Check out the Polish Classics thread in the International forum.

Janus has just restored the Mizo. I sure wouldn't say no to Naruse, but don't think that's happening.

Someone on another forum pointed out that it's just probably the reverse queen (look at it upside down). They also mentioned that the JFK button could be a clue to the Robert Drew documentary Primary.

Definitely think there is more to the kings than Three Kings, lot's of detail provided in that illustration.

My guesses:

A = Kings of the Road

B = McCabe and Mrs. Miller

C =

D = Lone Wolf and Cub

E =

F = Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned How to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb + The Exterminating Angel

G = Primary + Queen of Hearts (1989)

H = The New World

I = Phoenix

J = Easy Rider

K = Oliver Twist (Lean)

L = A Taste of Honey

M = Chimes at Midnight

N = The Story of the Last Chrysanthemums

O = Here Comes Mr. Jordan

P = The Squid and the Whale

Q = The Naked Island
