Last year we had 2 Fassbinder films during the same time period. So another Wenders could happen in May.

I just hope they stop releasing standalone versions of movies from boxsets that often, since those appear to take a slot of new or upgrade releases.

Once a year is enough.

I'd take a standalone release of Koyaanisqatsi over most things.

I just quickly browsed every film without a Blu-ray release and I did not see any May Blu-ray release date attached to any.

This either means that they aren't doing the announcements tonight, they're only doing an Eclipse set, or they're only going to be new releases.

I would welcome a standalone release of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. You can purchase that film by itself in France and the U.K., but it's region B locked. I'm sure there are people who want to own that but don't necessarily want the whole Demy box set.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd be receptive to that, as well.

I love the Demy set, don't get me wrong, but I could live without all but The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
