There are numerous sellers who charge more for a plastic case version of The Third Man. I wouldn't pay more just to get one, but I found a seller who was charging the same as the sellers offering the digipak case.

They did. Ordered mine on November 6th, 2009 on DVDPacific and it came in plastic case.

Mine, which I ordered directly from Amazon, came in a plastic case.

I opened it...... but unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the inside (can probably make that happen tomorrow if I remember) Here is the 1,000 words that might come close to equaling a picture:

1) The box top/bottom is cut on an angle (like a samurai sword did it I guess

) so the top of the box (black) is about 3 inches taller on one side compared to the other (and the bottom of the box which is red, is the opposite so it's still a square.....errr rectangular box)

2) The individual cases inside have the name of the film, along with the year of release on the spine.

3) the cases are all basically white, but there are different colors on their spines also.....

4) The cases themselves are cardboard (pretty heavy stock) with the inside being that molded clear plastic similar to the inside of a CD jewel case, one side being just a clear piece of plastic to add durability and shape, and the other has the spindle area to hold the disc.

5) There is a book

I'll have to crack it open and check it out to give you details on it.

I'll post pictures when I can.....

Not too sure about those DVD captures of "L' enfance nue" over at DVDBeaver... the color filtration is quite different than the MOC disc, which is an excellent release.

So, since I can only afford one of them, right now, and I'm not very knowledgeable on any of the following - between Diary of a Chambermaid, The Milky Way, Bob Le Flambeur, Kind Hearts and Coronets and Touchez Pas au Grisbi, what would some of you choose?
