its pretty cheap, you buy credits and download using credits - they have all different versions of the artwork but you gotta check artwork size cause some Criterion uploaded are very small files and not usable for print, and some are clearly scans and look very poor (a bit like the one I shared above)...

Its cool as some film have every artwork ever made which is sweet.

Not the BEST quality but should be big enough resolution to upscale the size - just speak to the print place you go to see what they can do .

http://postimg.org/image/gjpai5sap/

Any problems, drop me a PM and ill try help you fix it, but downloading from hat link should give you the larger file size.

There was a better quality but was a small size - if the above is too dark, you can simply lighten in photoshop or again if you want help I can do for you.

Heres a version I corrected:

Just noticed its a different illustration to the one you uploaded - wonder why they have two versions??
Wow thanks so much! I remember looking for larger images for it back in the day. The one you posted is what my DVD cover looks like, not sure why the image I posted is different.

If you manage to get it printed/frame ok share pics

Hopefully it should be good enough to get a nice size print out of it, doesn't have to be a huge print really.

I did try emailing some designers asking for higher res copies of the artwork but they said it would be down to Criterion to share it sadly. Unless the designers sell prints already printed (Sam Smith's House poster for example).

I have a fair few tokens left so if anyone wants me to see if theres any other artwork they want let me know and I will see what I can get.

Also, depending if I can, I would like to get The New World during the sale, as I haven't seen any Terrence Malick films before. If I can't, then oh well. Might get that in November then.
The Thin Red Line is probably the one to start with. Or Badlands. Days of Heaven is pretty to look at, but Malick didn't like the performances so he cut most of them out, leaving the film pretty empty. Anything after Thin Red Line gets even more abstract.

I started with The Tree of Line on the big screen. Was blown away, then I saw The New World and then Thine Red Line. Then Badlands + Days of Heaven followed by his newer release.

It's like the Etsy blackmarket! Thanks for posting. I'm ditching all the kids photos and replacing with my favorite movies.

[Show spoiler]ATTENTION Criterion fans:

Someone mentioned at the TT thread that there is a sale at SAE for 50% off in entire order, but apparently the code works for everything!!!!

So, you can buy Criterion Blurays that are in stock there for half the price!!
code is ts1650

http://www.screenarchives.com/

i just tried it with a couple of Criterions (didn't buy them) and the coupon works!

Sale valid May 12th, at 5pm ET through Monday, May 16th at 5pm ET.

edit:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...ostcount=21929
But you CAN buy the 4 disc set of the scores from 4 Antonioni films. That's a good deal despite their bullshit shipping rates.

Perhaps that's their motivation, but it strikes me as a bit of a missed opportunity. The font on the old DVD is somewhat closer to the film's logo, but I've never seen one like the one used on the Criterion used in any of the film's publicity material or on the film itself: one of my favourite criterion Easter eggs is spotting where the fonts used on many covers come from. Paris Belongs To Us is a good recent example, but It Happened One Night might be their masterpiece of this kind of thing.

True. A 4K restoration was at the Berlin Film Festival this year, so if not Criterion expect Shochiku to put it out like they did Late Spring.

I wonder if Late Autumn is imminent too? It's one of only a handful of titles on Janus' website that lists a Blu-ray, but with nothing announced yet. If it is actually planned, it would be unprecedented I think as I believe it would be the first Eclipse release to get a BD upgrade.

If I recall correctly, Daisies was also rumored to be upgraded to Blu-ray but it has not amounted to anything.

Let's not forget that both Wooden Crosses and Les Miserables are out on blu-ray and have been for a while. No sight of an upgrade of Eclipse Series 4.

That's Univers Lt 39 Thin Ultra Condensed. One of my favorite fonts, actually. One of the first fonts I bought when I started doing web design.

I wish they would concentrate on Eclipse more. It's a perfect way to get out films in their backlog.

I would like to say thanks to everyone who suggested a Malick film to begin with. I would still be getting The New World, but considering that there's three cuts of the film with this new edition, I'm pretty sure that if I don't like one cut of the film, I might like the other. And besides, don't worry of what films I choose. My first David Lynch film was Eraserhead, and now I can't get that film off my mind!
