I think the main problem is it's easy to see they would be losing money on this as I don't think many buy documentaries, at least not newer ones that have yet to become classics in some way or aren't made by a famous director, but then again they released A Poem is a Naked Person and the one about Burroughs, even if those are not new, I don't think many people are rushing to buy those.

Anyway maybe this documentary is really great and I am just underestimating it.

Probably true, as there are clearly a lot of inside references. That middle sequence with the dialogue in the apartment is one of the best sequences of any film ever made, IMO.

McCabe and Mrs. Miller. Hot damn, it's finally happening. Caught it in 35mm a few days ago and, while better than the horrid DVD available, it was so beat up that it still didn't do those visuals justice. Cannot wait.
