While they're at it, Criterion could just add Waking Life, Slacker, and Dazed and Confused and make it a big Linklater box set! That would be a day-one purchase for me!

Nanook? Really? That's interesting.

yes.. quite a looker herself

The Soft Skin, The Young Girls of Rochefort (haven't seen it yet,) and the Belmondo spoof film that's out from Cohen - That Man From Rio.

good, can't comment, and fun stuff, respectively.

Got to say this must be 3 months running where Criterion have made everyone happy with their announcements. Yay for them! And us!

Who here has the full list of rumored and confirmed titles? I remember it was posted here every now and then, I would like to maybe convert it into a shared Worksheet so we can all edit it and keep track.

Flicker Alley already has a blu of Nanook of the North out, on a double feature with Wedding of Palo. I don't know how it looks, though.

That could be tricky. People have different ideas about what makes something "rumored" and what makes something "confirmed".

I know, maybe with only writing access to few members with similar opinion, and being the more objective possible (adding links to sources) everyone else can make their mind if it is a rumor or not.

I am still not sure what info to add, something like title, director, source (text or picture), status (confirmed, rumor), date(so anyoone can quickly check the newest additions).

I found iScottie list but it is quite old:

That's a good list. Although, Midnight Cowboy should not be on it.

I am no longer in the rumor loop. However, I'm going to browse through that CriterionForum thread and see what's in store for the future.

Didn't we come to the conclusion that the clue was for an ill, sore possum (Il Sorpasso)?

I've sort of given up on the Before Trilogy.

Now, don't get me wrong: I'm not saying it won't happen. But I've wanted it to be announced each month for ages, and it's not happened. Now, the same thing happened with Mulholland Dr., and almost immediately after I said, "I quit" they announced it.

So, this is my attempt at manipulating the universe.

I would prefer that doesn't happen.

Midnight Cowboy is a film that hits a little too close to home for me.

Back in my sophomore year in college I lost one of my student loans and fell behind on my tuition payments. I was in real danger of getting kicked out of school and I need something more than a minimum wage job, which is all I could find at the time.

One night I met a man in a bar and I happened to mention that I was having money troubles. He said he could give me a way to make some quick cash and I didn't even need any references.

Three days later he called and said I should be at the 10pm Tuesday screening of Waterworld at the local movie theater and someone would meet me there with more information.

What happened next was...not something I've ever talked about before.

I was able to stay in school and graduate on time.

...but I've never really been the same since.

They didn't upgrade Jeanne Dielman, either.

I quit, too.

What about that clock from the 2015 new years drawing? I kept thinking it was for After Hours .Did it turn out to be something else?

You were a vaudeville performer in a former life, weren't you, Ray?
