Anyone do, or know where to find, custom artwork for people wanting to make scanavo cases to replace digipack releases?

There didn't seem to be many actual Criterion releases on there. Specifically, I am looking for "Breathless," and "Don't Look Back."

I did not, but it was sent to me when I requested "The Third Man."

When I purchased my copy on eBay a few years ago, I got the DigiPack version and, as a result, had to find custom artwork for a replacement case because Criterion stopped selling them.

Many, many years ago (like 20-ish) I had the great opportunity to see it in the theater. The Detroit Film Theater at the Detroit Institute of Arts showed it. That was a fantastic experience.

You're welcome! (Obviously I did it for selfish reasons, but I'll be giving everyone a 'you're welcome' nod before each showing ;P)

I hope it does well for them. Some of the screenings for the last two festivals were pretty sparse, but I think this one'll have more draw power.

The long Scorsese cut or the European cut? How was print quality?

I believe it was the long cut. The print quality seemed pretty good, though as I said it was a long time ago, so I wouldn't rely on my memory.

But I remember being very impressed with the look of the film.

It's only the short version though, which is the only version with an HD master at the moment.

Spent most of my time on the lake this weekend, but I did manage to squeeze in one Criterion last night for Memorial Day. I saw Overlord for the first time. It was unique in the blend between archival footage and that shot for the movie. Even difficult at times to determine what was actual and what was shot.

Because it followed one private without any major action in the movie, it cannot really be compared to any other D Day films. A very subdued look at an ordinary person taking part in an extraordinary event. I kept waiting for the typical "war film" element to kick in and somewhat unfairly didn't enjoy as much as I think it warranted. Since it is so short, this is one I will revisit in the future when I get a WWII itch that needs to be scratched. 7/10

I also watched several non-Criterions including The Witch. It left me with the same eerie feeling as seeing Rosemary's Baby for the first time. The horror genre is not my favorite, but I did like this because it was different from the standard slasher/jump scare film. Plus, I didn't realize movies could still be made today for $1M.

I'm putting a fork in movie watching for May. I logged 22 first-time Criterion watches for this month. That puts me up to 89 new Criterions for 2016. Only 111 to go to reach 200 first-time watches by 12/31/16.

I started World on a Wire last night, but I won't wrap it up until June. Thank you Mr. Fassbinder for your 3 hr 34 min film.

[Show spoiler]is the cow slaughter scene when the mongol entered the city
