It should be of interest to fans of Japanese cinema or animation in general here that Funimation (and Anime Limited in the UK) will be releasing the new 2K restoration of Mitsuyo Seo's Momotaro's Divine Sea Warriors, the first feature-length anime from 1945.

+1 never liked the movie that much or the need to watch it twice, I don't think even I will buy it on bluray although I'm a fan of Dustin Hoffman.

Thank you. I was just considering buying the Japanese blu-ray even though it doesn't have English subs. This sounds like a much better option.

Definitely looks like a valet to me. Since we know "Beyond the Valley..." is coming (and perhaps Valley too?), I'd say that has to be it.

Definitely. It won't be released until Q4 2016/Q1 2017 by the sounds of things, but I think that Funimation and Anime Limited helped fund the restoration and it'd be great to support Western distributors restoring/releasing historical anime like this.

I thought it's a waiter. Valley of the Dolls it is. Kinda disappointing since they already hinted at it on the NY's drawing.

Dunno, his nose is awfully sharp in that drawing. Why wouldn't they have a "fallen eye-doll" if it was gonna be a double clue?

It really does look like Baines. Even the collar on the jacket.

But how many kids does the family in Fallen Idol have? More than one?

On the other hand, there looks like only one doll.

My guess is box set in November/December, just in time for the holiday sales.

You are right! This screen grab is IDENTICAL to the drawing - there is NO difference at all - they are mirror images.

Its s like the artist traced this screen grab - no one can argue with me - this is FACT!
