I maintain an on-going alphabetical list of Criterion titles that I want and don't already have. In the past, when I've tried to make a prioritized list of titles to get, I generally end up passing on some titles that I planned on getting in favor of others. It'll be Wednesday the 15th. There is utterly no reason, not one reason at all that there isn't going to be an announcement this week.

I don't know if this has been discussed but could it be Pan's Labyrinth coming to Criterion?

Ι don't know about Criterion but this film definitely cries for a decent Bluray.

Great news. That's one of my favorite films. I don't have a huge problem with the current blu-ray, but I'd be all over a new transfer.

Great news about what exactly? Del Toro's tweet didn't mention a new Blu-ray release, let alone from Criterion. He could be referring to anything. It's just a wishful thinking at this point.

Great news something is happening with it, even if it doesn't end up being a new release. I will buy just about anything related to it.

yes. Maybe a new slipcover for a repackage of the old bluray.

Fans get crazy about such things and are willing to double and triple-dip.

Alright, I'll draw the line at repackaging of existing disc. :P I will buy anything other than new cardboard! (Books, discs with new special features, etc)

I have been thinking more along the lines of 10th anniversary theatrical screening etc...but a Diamond Luxe packaging from Warner is possible I guess

My B&N and Criterion wishlists are ongoing works in progress. As titles that I want are announced, I add them to my wishlists. I always have about 8 to 12 on the list, although I never buy that many at one time, even during a sale. It means that I still have some sale-day decisions to make, but at least I've narrowed the field down to a few finalists.

Unfortunately I can buy 3 discs at the most since I'm unemployed at the moment.
Definitely The New World (hope to see some screenshots and reviews before the sale ends), Only Angels Have Wings and in place of Fantastic Planet that I permanently erased from my Criterion wishlist I'm between Brief Encounter, On the Watefront and My Beautiful Laundrette.
Of course noone of these would be blind buys.
