Hmm, are B&N UK friendly? Just working it out now it'll be cheaper ordering from them with their 30% off than estimating based on how much AllYourMusic charged last November on Amazon.

Didn't notice much other than it being a bit too dark, only glossed over them though.

Also they claim Night and Fog is 1080i, not that it can be improved much but I still wonder what was the reason for that.

They are but my dealings with them have been terrible, I will never buy from them again. I will be buying from AYM on Amazon when the B&N 50% sale happens next month even if it costs me a few extra quid, at least I know I will receive them.

Wow if that coupon indeed overlaps with the %40 Criterion sale it will end up being a better deal than waiting for the %50 off for those ordering online, will probably end up adding two more titles to get to the $150 limit even if I can get %25 off $99-$150 or %20 off $50-99

It's a tough call; on Saturday, 30% off of 40% off puts the final cost at somewhere around 42%. That's obviously better than 50%, but one 20% off coupon that corresponds with the Criterion sale would put the final cost at 40%. (Any other discount would seem to be equivalent on both.) So I guess the question is, do we expect there to be a 20% coupon at any time during the Criterion sale? (Obviously, a 30% off would be even better, but it's probably greedy to hope for two-thirds off.)

Ouch, what happened exactly?

I worked out that it'll basically be about £30 cheaper on B&N with their various discounts, but like you say that's not particularly much if there are issues with them. Might do the same as you then if this is the case - will read up on other UK stories now

Yeah but I don't think % off of whole order are that common at Barnes & noble, they are mostly single item and there are no big Holidays once the %50 off starts like I assume this Saturday coupon has something to do with Father's day.

I ordered about 10 Criterion's from them on the 1st day of the 50% sale & to cut a long story short, after a 3 week wait I didn't recieve any if them. They offered zero customer service & so I cancelled my order.
I ordered the same discs from AYM on Amazon & it cost me £8 more in total & I received them, fancy that!
You might have better luck than I did though, maybe it was just a one off.

I did the math.

50% OFF + 10% Members discount

$17.99* 8 blu-rays = $143.92 + Tax
So you're getting 8 films for about $150.

40% OFF + 30% off $150+

7 blu-rays need to be purchased to reach $150 Min:
$23.99*7= $117.55 + Tax

Or if you buy 8 films:
$23.99*8 $134.34 + Tax

This one seem kind of light on special features. Almost like a budget release (which it is not).

Looks like their lineup might've changed because of the "hackers".

so then this makes sense instead of waiting for next month's 50% off sale, assuming there isn't a similar deal. am i reading this right?

Nice! Glad it's not truly OOP. Looking forward to seeing the difference in packaging (size mainly).
