$17.99* 8 blu-rays = $143.92 + Tax
So you're getting 8 films for about $150.

40% OFF + 30% off $150+

7 blu-rays need to be purchased to reach $150 Min:
$23.99*7= $117.55 + Tax

Or if you buy 8 films:
$23.99*8 $134.34 + Tax
One nice thing about the current 40% sale is that it isn't limited to Criterion titles, so you can mix and match films from different labels to get to that $150 minimum.

Yes, it's a better deal. Although, it's not certain if there will be an overlap of the two sales.

Regarding Dekalog!

"Also presented are the longer theatrical versions of Dekalog’s fifth and sixth films: A Short Film About Killing and A Short Film About Love."

Wow. Just when I thought that I was going to get away with only buying one or two Criterion titles per month from now on, I get hit with this September list.

Put me down for...

Cat People
Valley of the Dolls
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
Blood Simple
Night Train to Munich

Dekalog seems like too much of a project for me right now, considering my still-unwatched list, but I'll be grabbing it during the next sale.

In fact, most of these will probably be purchased during a sale. Pretty awesome, though!

Just Dekalog and Blood Simple for me! Already own Beyond the Valley of the Dolls via UK disc and Valley of the Dolls really didn't leave an impression on me like Beyond did. No interest in Night Train to Munich, Zatoichi, Last of the Chrysanthemums or Cat People.

But still a strong month and something for everyone, as it should be.

It's a better deal unless you factor coupons into the mix for in person purchases. Still tempting.

I'm definitely in for Blood Simple. I'll have to research/watch some of the others to see if they're worth owning.

Unless there's a flash sale in October, I'll probably get all of these during B&N's annual 50% sale in November.

Blood Simple and Dekalog for me right off the bat.

Interested in Valley of the Dolls and Cat People though.

The artwork for this month are amazing too, I love the one for Blood Simple. This honestly might be their best month. Top 5 for sure.

I've seen Dekalog and I'm not quite sure what those blocks mean. I'm guessing the apartment complex, but that's kinda lame, IMO.

10 blocks = 10 films. It works very well for the series
