I would check the 2 in the collection first (Blood for Dracula and Flesh for Frankenstein) to get an idea because the other ones are really different. Those 2 are out of print for Criterion, but there are other versions you can find that has better transfers too. The other ones have Warhol's "Superstars" as the cast so it would be better to watch the 2 horror films first.

It's cool. All of my list (maybe except for Bad Lieutenant and Two Lovers) were big mainstream films.

Nice, just checked Netflix and both of those are available on Instant, so I'll definitely give em a look in the next week or so. I checked the description, and they both sound pretty interesting. There's also a bunch of his other stuff available Instantly (Flesh, Trash, Women in Revolt, Heat, mixed Blood), a lot of Warhol mention, so that's probably what you are referring to.

I think the idea was to do top 5 American films, so The White Ribbon and Broken Embraces wouldn't count. The White Ribbon was great though, and I really want to see Broken Embraces.

Am I the only person that didn't love Inglorious Basterds? Tarantino movies are always fun and interesting, but I wasn't too crazy about it. It had some moments of greatness, but overall I thought it was a bit of a mess. I'm not a huge Brad Pitt fan to begin with, but I definitely did not like him in this.

Definitely. And the sad thing is, the last line of the film, which is basically Tarantino telling the audience that he thinks this is his "masterpiece" is disappointing, because this most definitely is not. I hope this isn't what we should expect from him in the future.

Its available region-locked from France, no English subs for the Japanese. Germany's releasing one soon (already?) that will probably be similar. I communicated with the US folks and they said no. I think maybe...we'll see.
