People think the "T" is referring to "The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T".

But where is Marius in the clue? The stance?

Also, I'm not a fan of these clues to already confirmed titles.

This doodle is too overwhelming!

I'm mainly happy to see some Audiard in the collection. Hopefully The Beat that My Heart Skipped and some of his earlier stuff that I haven't seen follow.

Here's his phantom page if anyone needed more confirmation for Dheepan: https://www.criterion.com/people/124846-jacques-audiard

That doesn't stop Criterion. The Squid and the Whale was released by Mill Creek too and Criterion just released it themselves.

I hope the cook is for The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover but it's probably not.

I would love to see The Beat that My Heart Skipped on Blu-ray. It is one of the few DVD's I am holding onto.

Thanks! That is what I initially thought and then I mistakenly thought another post was saying it was supposed to be something else.

So glad. I have been wishing and hoping for this to happen. If this is any sign of the wonderful things to come in 2017, I say bring it on! You

I have enjoyed most of Hughes' films. But I think Sixteen Candles would be a silly choice for Criterion.

If it's Sweet Sixteen, that's a bad clue for it. Like really bad. I'm rolling with Sixteen Candles.

Still leaves me wondering why/how Breakfast Club wasn't the one they got their hands on first.

I don't think it has to do so much with that.

I like the movie, but the film already has a decent Blu-ray release. Personally, I've always seen Criterion as a niche label specializing in releasing the most obscure titles and the more popular attractions from art house cinemas of the past, not universally known films.

It's what attracted me to them in the first place.

What are the flags? Could it be Lone Star by John Sayles or the Alamo with John Wayne? Kinda looks like a Texas flag.
