I agree! Actually, about a year ago I took an acting class with one of the supporting actors who starred in Lone Star (Jeff Monahan - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0597526/). He played the younger sheriff (Hollis) in the film.

I for one wonder why the movies of director John Sayles haven't come to blu-ray!? So many good movies he's made. It's like he's a widely undiscovered director in the public eye.

I still think the grave could be a double clue for They Live By Night and Night of the Living Dead. "They're coming to get you, Barbara!"

I sincerely hope they release Night of the Living Dead this year. That excites me most out of the potential releases.

Criterion HAS done double-clues in the past, haven't they? I seem to recall so.

Maybe the box is both for "Mysterious Object at Noon" AND "Seven"?

Someone at criterion brought up the poasiblity of the other Cuban flag being Pierto Rican, and with the musical notes, it being a clue for West Side Story. That seems very plausible to me.

To be honest, BTS could be right about all he said about Sixteen Candles. Let's face it, it's probably been a long time since a lot of us saw it, and most of us that did have probably forgotten about 90% of the movie by now.

Now, I'm not one of those types who get outraged about non-progressive stuff, so I'd never go in on 16 Candles like he has, but what he's posted about seems to have some degree of merit. I still don't hate it to that degree, but I might have to give the film another spin to see what I think now.

True but that would only be half a clue considering its wasn't Puerto Ricans vs Puerto Ricans in the film.
