True, though The director for The Lure was added a couple weeks before we knew Janus had rights to it, so we could see something like that again.

Kevin Smith's probably done recording all those lengthy interviews by now.

Buck Wild is an apt name indeed. You're one crazy man. Kevin Smith is probably at his most unpopular or unlocked right now.

But then again, didn't CC release George Washington when David Gordon Green was in a sort of creative slump (or just exiting one)?

Edit: this was one year after Prince Avalance

Whether Smith's popular or not right now, Chasing Amy is a classic. And it needs an update (which, sadly, it will never get). At least the disc we do have has some fun extras!

There's a UK release of Chasing Amy that's region free, and dirt cheap, and has more extras than the Criterion DVD, including a newer Kevin Smith retrospective, and commentary track.

Unless you need the Criterion branding, no reason to not get that release if you're a fan of the movie.

I like the film too, but like all Kevin Smith films not named Red State...no 4k scan is gonna mask how crummy the cinematography is.

I'm perfectly happy with my Miramax bluray.

I'm just anxious for more Chaplin. I'll be happy with Harold Lloyd also, but I have most of his films on DVD and only own Chaplin through Criterion (save the short film collections by Flicker Alley.

If we get a Chaplin I'm going to assume we're getting A King in New York, since they've been alternating between silent and talkie for his films. I'm hopeful for The Circus though.

If we get a Lloyd, I'm thinking Grandma's Boy might be next in line.
