Damnit. I was hoping for Point Break (the original, not the remake). Then again that wouldn't fit Criterion's criteria.

Dark green, dark brown and orange were colors in style back in the 1970s (I sometimes still retch at the thought). I'm hoping they got a good deal on the carpet.

It would be incredible if the original Point Break got a Criterion with a new 4K scan! That's one of my top 20 favorite films and I think Criterion would give it a gorgeous transfer.

I really hope it is The Breaking Point (1950). Another underrated film noir drop onto Blu-ray to make my dreams come true. I only caught part of this on TV many years ago and would love to see the whole thing. It is based on the Hemingway novel To Have and Have Not, which had (I think) four film versions. This Michael Curtiz directed interpretation with the legendary actors John Garfield and Patricia Neal is frequently cited as the best of the bunch (though the Bogart and Bacall version is the best known and also dear to my heart).

More John Garfield on Blu-ray is a wonderful thing.

Luckily for you CC doesn't have a "criteria". If they did Eating Raoul wouldn't have a spine.

Agreed. And plenty of new interviews with Gary Busey.

Now I'm intrigued. Just looked at the synopsis of this and I would make a blind buy on it.

What's particularly funny about this clue is if you just do a google image search for the breaking point, this image comes up

I hope they did too. They sure pimped out the floor, installing a bidet, jacuzzi and sauna too to go along with the neon green.

Every home needs, no, deserves a bidet.

I remember my first encounter with a bidet. It...it didn't go so well.
