Yes I love Thora Birch. She's a great actress and has such a unique gorgeousness to her. Also I agree that Scarlett Johansson is not hard to recognize in this film at all

Another Johansson favorite of mine is Under The Skin, and not just because of the full frontal nudity. Though it is very nice.

Not really rumours. There are lots of articles about her dad. He was her manager (not sure if he still is or not) and he's an ex-porn actor so he would just bring that skeezy porn mentality with him to the set of the films she worked on and creeped everyone out.

True, but I don't think being an ex-porn actor differentiates him hat much from the weirdness of non-ex-porn actor stage parents. In general, stage parents are always creepy and annoying no matter what they are.

Yep, and she's most famously known for the two "Candy" porn films.

But like I said, I won't judge her parents based on their former occupation. Her dad being a pain in the butt (no pun intended) for her career reflects more on his personality than his past. I'd be a hypocrite to judge porn stars anyway considering I have a bunch on blu ray...

I would give you that but when some of the stories originate from him giving filmmakers tips on how to film sex scenes involving his daughter, the fact he's an ex-porn actor certainly adds to the creepiness factor.

No doubt. I've certainly watched my fair share of porn, but it wouldn't be easy to be the child of two former porn stars. I saw a hilarious feature that ran on Nightline or some show of that ilk where porn actor Manuel Ferrara is married to former porn actress Kayden Kross and they have a kid. And his ex-girlfriend, current porn actress Dana Vespoli, lives next door and helps take care of the kid. So, while mom is home with the kid, dad is at work "laying pipe" all day haha. But that profession doesn't preclude them from being good parents as long as they're up front with the kid about it once he or she is old enough.

I've never seen the Before Trilogy. But while we're on Linklater, I've loved Dazed and Confused since it was released.
