I wonder if we'll get a Criterion release for the great 2016 film Christine which very strangely doesn't have a blu ray release. This was one of the best films of the year for me.

They're pressed, but I think they've all been bare-bones so far.

I love how the Criterion Blu-ray of Gilda includes a foldout poster of Rita Hayworth.



I'm tempted to place this poster on the outer wall of my office at work.

I figure that, with a rock hammer from a local gem shop, I'll be able to tunnel through the wall by chipping away at the stone a little bit at a time each day. Since the tunnel will be behind this Rita Hayworth poster, my supervisor and the district manager won't notice a thing. I'll simply hide the small pieces of the wall in my pockets so that I can discreetly empty them in the work parking lot during every lunch break.

One day, my supervisor will walk into my office to ask me about an environmental inspection report, and he'll wonder, "Where did he go?"
All of my co-workers will be looking around the building for me. "Where did he go?"

By then, I'll already be across the border into Mexico.

Ahhh...Zihuatanejo...right by the Pacific Ocean. A warm place with no memory.

Glaswegians are mostly friendly but can be very brusque, which puts off people who are used to more "delicate" social graces. There are also some rough areas but if you stick to touristy spots or have a local show you about, it's a wonderful town.
