My prediction, if it's anything like the last 2 months, nothing I'll want.

I just look forward to seeing what Criterion brings to the table for FWWM. I'm still hoping it is just part of a larger Lynch set.

Femme Fatale, Lost Highway, or After Hours.

Please. I don't ask for much.

You just cut the hair, right?

I'd be thrilled as well if they announce any of the three you've requested.

As per the usual demonknight Criterion hopes, I hope at least one gets announced, regardless of rumors or confirmations or what have you:
After Hours (1985, Martin Scorsese)
The Devils (1971, Ken Russell)
Henry Fool / Fay Grim / Ned Rifle Trilogy (1995/2006/2015, Hal Hartley)
Lost Highway (1997, Davis Lynch)
The Lure (2015, Agnieszka Smoczyńska)
The Man Who Wasn't There (2001, Joel and Ethan Coen)
Miller's Crossing (1990, Joel and Ethan Coen)
Palindromes (2003, Todd Solondz)
Pink Floyd- The Wall (1984, Alan Parker)
Polyester (1981, John Waters)
Schizopolis (1999, Steven Soderbergh)
The Silence of the Lambs (1990, Jonathan Demme)
Sisters (1973, Brian De Palma)
Sixteen Candles (1984, John Hughes)
SLC Punk (1998, James Merindino)
Star 80 (1980, Bob Fosse)
Stop Making Sense (1984, Jonathan Demme)
Storytelling (2001, Todd Solondz)
Targets (1969, Peter Bogdonovich)
True Stories (1986, David Byrne)
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992, David Lynch)
Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995, Todd Solondz)

I just dug out my DVD of the original release. I bought it on eBay years ago. I anticipate with Demme's death, they'll do an upgrade. However, unless it was already in progress, it'll be a little ways away. I do know that Hannibal TV creator Bryan Fuller was unable to incorporate any of the characters, plot, etc. of SotL into the show due to a rights' issue. In promoting his new show American Gods, he indicated the rights issue was almost or already up, so if he was able to restart Hannibal, he could use Clarice, Buffalo Bill, etc. In turn, it could also allow Criterion to do the upgrade.

The Wall needs to be on blu-ray, and who better to do it than Criterion.

I am on CC's press list. When the released the change of date, there was no indication it would affect September's other releases (taking one title away, etc.)

I doubt a film from 1994 would need a "restoration," however it is getting a 4K remaster from Janus films. The Janus logo is now at the beginning instead of the Miramar one, so Criterion 100% got it back in some capacity.

Why leave this on your wishlist when you know it's being self-released?

I think it will happen today. About 2 Hrs ago they tweeted a gif from Beyond the Valley of the Dolls MOOD: on the Gif "This is my happening and it freaks me out!"

No use doing a tweet like that today to tease tomorrow. Unless they are thinking about something else

Have any phantom pages been added today? That's been a fairly reliable indicator of announcement day.
