Criterion gets a bad rap for the annoucement dates, but they've stuck pretty close to the 15th over the last several months. Usual exceptions are when the 15th lands on a weekend. They even announced titles on the 14th one time a little while back.

Oh, I agree. Not bad mouthing them in anyway. There are one-off occasions that they're a day late. Obviously, if the 15th was a weekend day, they announce the following Monday. Or a day early, like you said, if it is a Friday.

They're never late. That's the advantage of never saying when their announcements will be.

Unless there are more extras I can't double dip on Silence of the Lambs. Never seen Sixteen Candles yet, "coming of age" movies are either a hit or miss for me. I love American Graffiti and Fast Times at Ridgemont High though I hated most of the post 1990 coming of age films. It's one I have to see before buying.

I was just going to give this a very strong recommendation myself.
Also, 12 Angry Men is an absolute must own.

I'm a bit scared to even to start making my sale list. Either way I have to scale back my usual 30+ title hauls. Definitely getting Before trilogy, Ugetsu, Multiple Maniacs and a couple 40's and/or 50's titles
