I'll wait for the specs before selling anything; Criterion often ports over the majority, but not all of the extras on a given title. There could be supplements that remain exclusive to the MGM discs that are worth holding on to.

(but seriously After Hours would be the best)
At this point they just need to release After Hours to kill the endless suspense and so we finally have it.

Agreed. With the clock picture clues and speculation going on for a while, and the fact that Scorsese works with Criterion regularly because of The Film Foundation, one would think a 4K remaster and new interviews of AH would work out.

Remember, it took then 2-3 years to release Y tu Mama Tambien after hinting about it in clues.

I swear they already did this. But I'd love to see them do another Cary Grant pic, Arsenic and Old Lace. They did a laserdisc long ago. Time for upgrade?

And especially given that they released it on LD back in the day.

Ghost World must be selling pretty well.

There were no copies available at my local Noble.

Also I realized yesterday that I have never in my life seen an actual physical copy of Mystery Train in any retail establishment on the face of this planet.

Do they even exist?

...or is it just an urban legend?

I would love any of them, but The Philadelphia Story would be my #1 on that list. With Adam's Rib a close second.

I think I picked up my copy of "Mystery Train" at B&N a few years ago. The two I never see in B&Ns are "The Forgiveness of Blood" and "White Material".

[Show spoiler]I'd say it will be a standalone à la Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words.

It's had a theatrical run and more.

It be nice if Criterion would pick up Notorious which is the Hitchcock film at the top of my want list, but I refuse to pay the price for the current OOP BluRay

I'm sure they could add
[Show spoiler]more Lynch shorts
on the disc as extras and that would definitely make it worth it.

Very true. However,
[Show spoiler]the documentary explores his early career up to Eraserhead and those shorts are already available via that Blu-ray release.

There's a wealth of later short material out there too, a chunk of it in his possession. Perfect place to release it imo.
