I just finished watching "The Gentleman Tramp"...a very nice documentary and definitely a nice mix of footage that I've never seen before.

Thanks again to kndy for the heads up on this!

For those that haven't watched this, yet...

Masahiro Shinoda's DVD picks in the Criterion closet.

From what I can tell, Shinoda's "Pale Flower" (1964) is confirmed for a Criterion release.

Next up... my picks in the Criterion closet.

Also, David Prior over at Home Theater Forum pretty much confirms that Fincher's "The Game" is coming back to Criterion.

Not sure what you're looking for, but I have a link that might be helpful (it also has a links link that might lead to some (other) good places):

http://www.luisbunuel.com/links.html

Also, there's this one in Spanish:

http://www.luisbunuel.org/inicio/bunuel1.html

My wife could probably figure out what's going on there, but not I. (It's probably just what you are looking for. )

I like "The Game" but don't really care much for Se7en or Fight Club, but I care enough to own both of them...... mostly because they are crowd favorites......

Brad Pitt in Se7en is TERRIBLE..... and I still don't understand why people liked him in that role

Are you serious? Here are Fincher's box office receipts:

Se7en - $327 mill
The Game - $109 mill
Fight Club - $109 mill
Panic Room - $196 mill
Zodiac - $85 mill

This is not some low budget independent film director without mainstream appeal. His movies have mainstream popularity and are widely praised.

I hear a lot of people say that about Zodiac but I nearly fell asleep watching that at the theatre. It seemed really long and drawn out to me. What might have been a good 120 minute film stretched out to 158 minutes.

I don't even know what you mean by this. Both Se7en and The Game were available years ago on Criterion Laser disc. You might have missed the memo stating that people have differing opinions on what a "good" movie is.

Hey, Fincher is awesome. You aren't. Peace.

Seriously, the elitism on here is astounding sometimes.

OMG where can I get replacement cases, digipacks are retarded!!! ! !> (Just to keep this "on topic")

Looking forwards to Thin Red line, which is my favourite movie!
Also I hope Criterior releases soon "The Remains of the Day", and "The Age of Innocence".
well, the first one would be something more possible, since it has released many ivory films.

Wow. As someone else mentioned, the level of elitism here can get absurd. Fincher is one of the finst filmmakers working today.

Se7en
Fight Club
Zodiac
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Social Network (which I saw at the press screening this weekend, and it was brilliant, and not just a movie about Facebook, it's about our culture today and how we live our lives on the internet longing for connection).

You're a fool to think Fincher isn't considered one of the most important filmmakers out there.
