I've imported all of Pasolini's films on Region B, because they're just not forthcoming to the US. Of course, we have "Salo", and then we got the 'Trilogy of Life' 5 years ago. EOne has a nice edition of "Medea" out.

But I've imported everything from the UK, because all of his major work, except for "Mamma Roma" has already been out on blu ray over there.

I've only one Region Free player in one room. I'd like to have Region A versions of these films so i can play them anywhere.

There's not even been a US release yet of Abel Ferrara's film, "Pasolini", starring Willem Dafoe, yet.

The December before last, I had just gotten my Region Free player when the BFI in the UK got Pasolini fever, releasing the new Ferrara/Dafoe film and an entire box set of six Pasolini films. All loaded with features.

I really would like to see some more Pasolini, and Bertolucci, as well, from Criterion.

Still several key Bertolucci films MIA, as well.

They haven't touched Dersu Uzala since '95 on Laserdisc. It's the only edition of the film I've ever owned and won't let it go until they re-release it (it was the same scenario for me with The Graduate and Blow-Up for many years). Man, that film is great.

I recently bought a copy of the Criterion DVD release of I Vitteloni. If it makes you feel any better, I also bought a copy of the OOP Tokyo Olympiad DVD - which was subsequently announced as part of the Olympics BD box set. Maybe I'll have the same touch with I Vitteloni for an upgrade.

Seriously, more Fellini and Visconti would be great.

Elevator to the Gallows would make me very happy. Been waiting and waiting on that one.

It's also been 2.5 years since the last Bergman. I'm dying. I need the Silence of God Trilogy in HD. Scenes from a Marriage would be fantastic as well.
