Another Janus Films booking for Night of the Living Dead. It's still not on their web site.

I saw a 35mm print of Le Samourai at The Silent Movie Theatre in Los Angeles a few years ago. It looked great but unfortunately the print was missing a few minutes during one of the last reels. After the movie ended, host Greg Proops had to fill the audience in on what they missed.

As for Bjork videos directed by Michel Gondry, I actually prefer "Hyperballad". It's f**king outstanding.

sorry because this is off-topic, but can someone recommend an art film or a classic film that is at a "must grab it" price at B&N?

I have the $10 coupon and dropped the ball w/ the Criterion sale ending a day or two earlier than I thought it was going to.

Anything. Their non sale prices aren't too good. Wondering if there is a deal out there that I am overlooking.

Spring is $6.65 at Barnes and noble right now and I see it's not in your collection. Get it. Do yourself a favor and just get it.

This is good information. I figured there must still be one Alanis Morissette fan left in the world, and there it is.

Been a fan since Jagged Little Pill dropped in '95.

What a masterpiece of music that is.

Thanks, guys. All good suggestions.

Javy, you're on the hook now, buddy. Spring better be good!

Somehow, I hadn't heard of this film before. It looks and sound like something I'd enjoy. What very little I read about it made me think of It Follows and Nocturnal Animals - two films I really admired.

Looking forward to giving this a chance now!

I actually had to buy a copy being sold by B&N because the $10 couldn't be used with marketplace sellers. So, it cost me like $7. Not bad.

I just submitted a pre-order for The Philadelphia Story and Le Samouraï on Amazon, and giggled like a little kid when I hit the 'place your order' button.

After I finish watching Revanche, I'm going to check all my digipacks. Thanks, Scottie. Now I'm paranoid.

Nocturnal Animals is great. It Follows is awesome. Spring is beautiful and I absolutely love it.

Let me know what you think.

Blasphemy!!!

Delon is awesome and Le Samourai is one of my favorite movies. He is the epitome of cool, yes.

But he ain't no Steve McQueen.

Haha I think Delon in "Le Samourai" is cooler than McQueen in any role he played. I really don't think an actor has been cooler than Delon in that role. But Steve was probably the coolest consistently, so I'm not taking anything away from him.

The forthcoming Bright Sunshine In (Claire Denis) starring Juliette Binoche seems like a film Criterion would release. They've got first dibs if they want it.
