Interesting. If you do import, it would be great to read your thoughts. I buy a lot of BD from overseas, but unfortunately the only two I have from Spain turned out to be bootlegs (Ryan's Daughter and Bell, Book, and Candle).

I'm always slightly annoyed (in a first-world problems sort of way) when Blu-rays have multiple commentaries. The 40th Anniversary Blu-ray of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has four commentary tracks. I'm always like, "Ain't nobody got time for that."

That one is well loved by Allen fans, and like most of his 90's stuff, has never made it to blu ray (in North America).

I really like 'Deconstructing Harry'. As far as I know, that one never got a blu ray release anywhere. It's definitely not as highly regarded as 'Mighty Aphrodite', but it would be nice if TT or somebody would put it out on blu ray.

It's supposed to be OOP, but Have anyone heard of possible 'Sang d'un poète' and 'Testament d'orphée' Blu upgrades?

Actually, no. As I've blathered in about 4 other threads, each and every UHD player is mandated with a trojan horse. If you're not familiar with it, check the Oppo 103/203 threads for some heated arguments about upgrading. I was all set to upgrade myself until I learned what proponents of UHD adoption have been sweeping under the rug this whole time.

Agreed. I'm a huge Woody Allen fan, and have seen all of his movies. The '90's is one of my favorite decades re: his films. Deconstructing Harry is one of his funniest films from this era - brilliant, with hilarious dialogue. IMHO, DH is right up there with the best of his '90's output, i.e. Husbands & Wives, Mighty Aphrodite, Celebrity, and Manhattan Murder Mystery (all incredible films).

There's probably some Bay commentary out there for his work with Playboy.

As for Armageddon, I'm all for a Criterion release which features a cut edited by Terrence Malick.
