I picked up the following:

Stalker
Vampyr
For All Mankind
Pan's Labyrinth
Stagecoach
Naked

That's plenty to keep me happy with the back log of films I've yet to watch. Pan's Labyrinth was my 1,000th blu-ray. God help me.

Vampyr
Cat People
In a Lonely Place

Had a real hard time not grabbing Mildred Pierce and The Breaking Point... but I have a large enough to-(re)watch pile, saw those two very recently, and I'm eager to re-watch the three I did get soon.

Packaging for Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. I'll scan the back, DigiPack Front, and DigiPack Back to the database after.

what a stupid thing is think that we got a discount of and inflated price: SRP: $39.95! per movie.

they should sell always all movies for $15, I bet they sell a lot more than fooling around SRP: $39.95 with "discount" to ends $19.97.

I've got those two pre-ordered through Amazon, though I may just cancel that order and grab them at Barnes and Noble if either one ends up being a digipak. I don't think they will be, though. Nothing I've seen indicates they are, but I won't know for sure until a review is made.

Can't wait until mid-November to get them in.

They give you a point for each dollar spent. Then when you've hit 500 points, they issue you a $50 gift certificate.

Not stupid at all. They're a boutique label, and at $15 a unit, they'd lose money. We're paying for all the extra work that goes into their releases: film remastering, bonus features, packaging, etc.

Criterion usually sells their movies at about $31 on their site. $19.99 is a good price, one I'm happy to pay for the caliber of films they distribute, and the amount of work that goes into them.

I live in Canada, so can't really take advantage of the Barnes and Noble sales without paying shipping and possibly duties.
They're available on Amazon, but to get them for a fraction of the price from Criterion. No complaints here More than likely they'll be standard cases.

Wondering if it's worth waiting for November to save $10 w/ in-store B&N member discount. Does Criterion offer reward points ordering direct?

Yes, they have a loyalty program:

https://www.criterion.com/help#q16

Don't forget no sales tax other than shipping to NY and KY. The 10% B&N member discount can get eaten up by sales tax in-store.

They sure do! You get a $50 gift certificate when you hit 500 points.

On a different note I got my second order in! When placing my order for the Marseille Trilogy I also added Blood Simple, all in all a pretty swell haul for only $100 canadian!

Did anyone who bought a double points gift card around Christmas last year get a code for crossing the 500 points threshold? I just got there, but my account’s showing a weird discrepancy - 503 points, but 47 to go for the gift card.

Same thing happened to me. E-mail them at loyalty@criterion.com and they will sort it out.
