Yes. Each title will be discounted by 50%. So your entire order is discounted.

I went with a small haul this time, but I think a good one.

David Lynch: The Art Life -- I know, it's sort of a waste to go with something otherwise inexpensive relatively during one of these sales, but ... Lynch.

Rebecca -- I've been wanting to pick this up, and now I have. Can't wait to watch it.

3 Films by Roberto Rossellini With Ingrid Bergman -- 'Nuff said.

I have yet to buy a Criterion release. Would they ever go lower than 50% that you guys have seen?

Not direct. Very occasionally I've seen Amazon sell at a discount greater than 50% on selected titles. And the days of using B&N coupons during Criterion 50% sales are over, so pretty much the only way to get a discount greater than 50% is to become a B&N member and get an additional 10%. But of course you need to factor the $25 member fee and sales tax against the number of titles you buy annually to determine if you are actually getting a deal.

Some t-shirts run big, while others run small and you have to be an anorexic hipster to wear them.

Good material, cheap material?

I have the Hausu shirt and it definitely runs on the smaller side. I'd imagine they use the same company for all of their shirts.

Not often, and usually only with a combo of sales + other discounts. Sometimes Amazon dips a little below 50% but I don't think it happens often.

To summarize: you might see whatever you're looking at a buck or two cheaper down the road but you probably won't be kicking yourself if you buy stuff now.

And if over time you manage to spend $500 they'll send you a gift card for $50.

It's a pretty safe sale overall.

Was really hoping for this to fall on Oct 24th. Personal Shopper would've been a great addition.

I think the best deal I've gotten for a new Criterion was for Beauty and the Beast on Amazon during a lightning deal.
$11!

Either a large or extra-large.

Worst case scenario it's too small or too big and you return it for the better size.

Annoying isn't it. Would be better if it was $49 to get FS

Gonna start buying direct with flash sales and forgoing B&N sales (...unless a must own title comes out during). Direct purchases help them more and like, Arrow Video, you get reward points.

Yup, if I go back in to use the loyalty coupon for Dekalog I'm going to have to add Hopscotch to get free shipping.
