Thank you, Pro B.
Getting back to Criterion. Robert Harris had this to say on the upcoming release The Magician (courtesy of Home Theater Forum): I must have seen 16mm Janus prints of The Magician, Seventh Seal, L'avventura and 8 1/2 each 147 times or more while at NYU. This new Blu-ray of The Magician knocks anything that I've previously viewed out of the park, and into an adjoining city. And understand that we still had that thing called silver in prints in those days. RAH |

Crossing my fingers for it to be a Naked Lunch update, although over at CriterionForum, they're speculating Fear and Loathing and at CriterionCast they're predicting Night of the Iguana.

My guess would be Fear and Loathing. Yes UNIVERSAL just issued their BLU release this past year however DVD was the same roll out.
Naked Lunch.. hmmm not sure. The image doesn't scream it so much... but maybe all of our gueses are wrong. I would say no to NIGHT OF THE IGUANA, I love that film but I don't think WB's would licence that title out.. I mean if we did that title lets attack the DEVILS of Zabriskie Point right? |

But the reason I don't think it is NotI is because that seems way too...obvious for lack of better word to be a newsletter clue. |

It is a MGM title but WB's actually owns it. I own the DVD that came out in the T. Williams box set. (Just like Zabriskie Point is MGM but thru WB's) **TURNER / MGM LIBRARY that WB's Owns**

I'll laugh if it turned out to be the crappy sequel and not the original film.
