I don’t know how they haven’t gotten the license to this yet. It’s a perfec film for Criterion. Hell, it’s a perfect film in general.

Would buy immediately because of extra features, but the region free German disc has a really good picture quality. I’ve owned it for almost 4 years and popped it in multiple times. Has very good picture from what I can see.

Eva Green is so smoking hot and IMO the perfect woman.

Yeah, when I first saw it in my early 20’s I loved it simply because Eva was naked a lot. I still like it because of that, but I’ve grown to the love the film too. It celebrates other film, it delves into French political tensions that were going on in the 60’s, and pushes the boundaries on appropriate familial behavior. It also highlites the difference in American vs. French culture IMO. The film is NC-17, but I’d rather have my teenager watch a film like this than some of these R rated gorefests we churn out today. We are in love with violence this film has very little, we shun sexuality and are more prude, this film is very open about it.

Personally I would highly recommend it. It’s an English language film but it is extremely French.

I've seen it a couple of times. It's not too bad if you're in the right frame of mind. I'm inclined to think that it may be more of a 'cool' movie than a good one.

EG does look like a total bad ass when she appears onscreen for the first time in the film.

Fair point. I've been too busy drooling over this

I have the older release of The Terrorizers blu, which i can easily recommend. I imagine this one is just as good.
